Great Cooling, Easy to Use, Slightly Noisy
I’ve been very happy with the MeacoCool Pro Series 10,000 Portable Air Conditioner. It cools my room quickly and efficiently, even on warmer days, and the build quality feels solid and well-made. The controls are easy to use, and the different operating modes make it simple to find a comfortable setting. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy, especially when running at higher fan speeds. However, this is fairly typical for portable air conditioners, and the cooling performance more than makes up for it. Overall, it’s a reliable and effective unit that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If you’re looking for a portable air conditioner that cools well and is easy to set up, I would definitely recommend it.

Great Air Conditioner, but be aware not quiet at all
This is a great quality product. Love the design. Has a nice app, which lacks features though (like easy to setup ordinary timer which countdown with nice illustrative graphic arch, or dark mode for example). Pairing should be also simpler (doesn't work without Bluetooth on) but otherwise works well and is useful as a remote control (but can't used all the features fully yet). Dehumidifier works well as well if the room temperature is above 15C. The only thing I want to warn potential buyers about is that indoor air cons are loud (between 54-65dB) so cannot be advertised as whisper quiet. I don't think people can watch TV next to this aircon (unless you put sound very high or use a noise cancelling headset) or sleep peacefully. But, for example you can put it in adjacent room or in a corridor and then it's fine. So just bear that in mind. Quiet would be below 40dB and no indoor aircon can do that at this time AFAIK. Also the sleep mode doesn't lower the fan speed - it's the low speed, but to loud. One improvement I would suggest would be to have 3rd "slow/quiet" fan speed. At the moment the 2 fan speeds are just too powerful. Even the slow fan speed is just too powerful. Alternatively, free noise cancelling headphones could be packed with the unit? ;) Also it's heavy, but once at home, who cares it's on wheels.

Perfect for my home office!
Perfect for my home office! I bought this air conditioner for my small home office because I need to work from home due to health reasons. It has been a lifesaver during hot days and allows me to work comfortably. It is brand new and works absolutely flawlessly. Like most portable AC units, it is a bit noisy, but the price is so attractive that it is definitely worth it. When I need to make a phone call, I just turn it off for a few minutes, so it’s very easy to manage. On top of that, it has a really nice, sleek design and doesn't take up too much space. Highly recommend it for the price!

Chunky, Loud, Packs a hell of a punch. I like it.
She's a little chunky, a bit loud, but she packs one hell of a punch. We use her in a 42m2 room (over it's 28m2 capacity) and it still does a great job of bringing the temp down in high. We also use her in a 24m2 room, it brought the temperature down by appx 2degrees per 30 minutes. *room temp was 27c, target was 16c. App's decent to use, pairing to wifi was easy, so if you've got it in a more permanent setup, you can turn it on when you're about to set off from work (or set a timer) and return to a nice cool room.

Title: Dismissive customer service and false quiet claims
Bought this because it said "Whisper Quiet." In reality 51–55dB is not a whisper. It gave me headaches. I contacted customer service for goodwill. First reply was a generic copy paste refusal. When I complained they said no refund for "perceived noise" – totally dismissive of my real discomfort. They asked for a video but already decided the outcome. No empathy, no help. Will not recommend Meaco.

Noise, cooler, no thermostat.
So heavy. Portable is a stretch, if you’re a single female, you will been help to carry. It’s got some noise, but I don’t exactly mind that.. no louder than just having multiple fans blowing warm air on you. Feels a lot colder in the bedroom. That said, I couldn’t tell you what temperature it is.. because it doesn’t show me??? An air cooler… that can’t show me how cool the temperature is? Going to run it for a few days, and then probably get a a vent drilled in to the side of my house, in the spare room. I think it’ll keep the upstairs cool of a small terraced house. Tried sleep mode… and it just turns the fans down, but that just means you can hear all the other weird noises. Think I prefer the noise of a fan. £400? I’m not convinced yet, but I’m sure I’ll appreciate it tonight, in this heat.

Very powerful cooling unit, but the fan is loud
With warm weather approaching I made the jump and purchased this portable air-con unit about three weeks ago. It arrives in a single cardboard box and was quite weighty to lug up the stairs, at around 20kg. It's very easy to set up, there are only a few parts in the box, and the supplied window kit and seal is easy to put together. I especially like that you get a window adaptor for unconventional windows too - we have awkward outward-hinged windows so I was worried that we wouldn't be able to use the seal, but it's been great. The unit comes with touch-sensitive controls on the top and a smartphone app, and I've found that we use the former most often. The app was easy to set up though, and the wi-fi connection means I can control the unit remotely if I'm in another room. The cooling power has blown me away - ours is set up in our bedroom, and a 30-minute blast of cool air before going to bed is enough to lower the temperature in the room by several degrees. I'd say watch out for the noise, because this unit is loud. I don't think we could sleep if it was on all night, even on the lowest fan setting. And although we only use it in short bursts, I haven't seen a big jump in my electricity costs. Top tip - let it sit for about 12 hours before switching it on, because moving it into position will have shifted the refrigerant inside.

Worth every penny for a cool home
Have had a Meaco Cool MC10000 unit for 4 years now and it still works brilliant but I needed a unit for the attic bedroom that reaches up to 40c on hot days & sleeping is impossible. I bought the 16000 unit as wanted the most powerful & I’m so glad I did it was the most expensive but worth every single penny and top quality. This unit is stunning! The hosing is extremely strong and sturdy & very easy to connect to the unit. Yesterday we had 33c weather & the attic room was 42c. This unit had the room cooled down within 20 mins to a cool comfortable 20c. It has an oscillating fan that helps circulate the whole room. On the lowest setting of 16c it actually measured as 9c on a thermometer. Noise wise it’s no louder than a normal fan on full speed. On hot nights I didn’t use the sleep mode I just set it to 19/20c on a low speed (it has 3) and slept like a baby. The features are very simple to use & comes with a remote control. I don’t used the WiFi feature but it is very easy to set up if needed. It comes with 2 types of fittings for windows but I had to make up my own setting using the plastic slat as I have velux windows and it worked well. This unit won’t be used much but for the days where it is roasting hot it is so worth it. Summer 2025 has had a lot of hot days and more to come but this unit has left us all feeling cool & calm. The cats have greatly appreciated it. When using the unit keep windows closed and place a bowl of water in the room to help with moisture as air con can be drying on your throat. All in all can not recommend this product enough
