If the nibs are difficult to put it or take out, use a fabric or rag to assist, use caution and try not to spring the tines. If the nib still cannot fit, you can carefully adjust the brass flange with pliers if you have the expertise, however, we HIGHLY suggest to return it instead as adjusting can compromise the holder’s functions. The brass flange is removable. This holder is light weight, has medium thickness, and features a gorgeous ornamental design with gold lining and a nice white horn and ebony-like wood material.

Great nib pen staff at a decent price!
So far it appears the pen holder is well made, the heft feels right and the materials used are quality. I will be giving this some time and effort and doubt my opinion will change.

Not adjustable so angle is off.
I don’t really care for this pen. I wish I had paid more attention when I ordered it because the angle of the flange is so off, and trying to adjust it manually didn’t work. Also, it’s almost too slippery, so my fingers have a tough time with the grip. I’m disabled, so that may not be helping, but I don’t have that issue with other pens I own.

Looks expensive - high quality
Really nice quality for the price, it looks expensive and you can adjust the metal nib holder. The grip part is nice and thick and makes for easy holding / maneuvering. I have had it for several months and it has held up perfectly

I got home yesterday excited to use the holder however ...
I got home yesterday excited to use the holder however I quickly found out I had no nibs. I did notice that the brass ring between the bone and ebony does not sit flush. I will see if it becomes an issue when writing.

Finally arrived
It is exactly what is pictured, very lightweight, and completely plastic. I'm not sure what happened with the shopping but i finally received this item about six days after expected. Item came is flexible plastic envelope so i was sure it was going to be broken but it was fine. Haven't tried to pen with it yet. Fingers crossed it is with the wait.

Comfortable to hold, this pen is also pretty to look at. Nicely detailed and crafted, it is a pleasure to write with.
