H-Point: The Fundamentals of Car Design & Packaging

I come from an engineering background but was always interested in design and packaging of products (mainly automotive). I used many books and tutorials but only 2 stood out, this book and another called "How to Draw". This book has everything you need to know about packaging for different car classes. The only thing I think this book could use more of is a more specific section on Electric vehicles as they are becoming more and more mainstream. Overall I think this book is an absolute must have and an invaluable addition to anyone who is into car design's library.

Interesting insight in to the design considerations for modern cars.

Absolutely brilliant book for me going in to study Automotive Design at University. Although it takes a lot of reading and it is a lot of information to take in, all of it is relevant and very useful, with the latest updates including some of the more recent technologies for vehicles such as EVs. Overall a very good book, however it is more for someone like me that is looking on making a previous design more realistic, as it doesn't really give you many tips on exactly how to draw or make some concept sketches.

H POINT is a well constructed collection of all the elements that go into vehicle packaging and concept. It gives a very good introduction to the subject and is ideal educational material for anyone starting in the industry.

Bought as a gift but am assured it is a very informative book.

This is book is amazing as fan of automotive you can can really learn the fundamental to be a designer, it would be great if we could have some special assignment based to a calendar with a online community, the most important after that it is to get some feed backs about my design...

Want to learn more about vehicles and also how to draw and design them? This book gives a great overview of why different cars and vehicles look like they do, and is laid out and organized in a logical and human-centric way.

Wie schon im Titel beschrieben gibt es hier viel wissen in einem Buch. Ich habe noch nicht alles durchgelesen, aber würde es weiter empfehlen, weil es viel wissen beinhaltet.

La editorial hace un buen trabajo. Las ilustraciones ejemplifican muy bien el texto. Es ideal para quienes se inician en el diseño general de la automoción.

Libro muy didáctico explica los conceptos básicos sobre diseño del automóvil.
