The large wall crucifix is wood with a black varnish and a matte gold stripe, and a polished gold finish corpus. It is exactly as pictured and not as currently described as it is with a gold corpus, not a silver one. It is well made and the figure of Jesus is intricately detailed or carved. It is a large enough size to be hung on a wall or above a doorway. The St. Benedict rosary has a copper finish with brown knotting and brown, oval-shaped wood beads. The cross on the rosary is very thin and flat with an engraved medal and a 3D corpus. There is a lot of history and meaning behind the St. Benedict medal and it is well worth an Internet search to learn all the details. In short, it gives extra protection against evil. The letters are the first initials of a Latin phrase which translates roughly to “May the holy cross be my light! May the dragon never be my overlord!” The other side has more initials of Latin phrases relating to the attempted poisoning of St. Benedict. These roughly translate to "Begone Satan! Never tempt me! What you offer me is evil. Drink the poison yourself." Peace!
