I am so happy with this purchase. Not only is the product very well made and looks great, but it also works incredibly well. I especially like the cooling feature. What a great idea. A lot of other competing products don't have this. So make sure you get this. You will want it because it soothes your skin as it works. This way you don't get skin irritations even when you set it to higher power settings. It doesn't hurt and is easy to use anywhere on your body. And the cooling sensation really helps a lot. The app is great. I used it on my iPhone, but you can also use it on an Android phone. It's a really well built app. This sets up a schedule for you after it asks about your skin color, type, etc. So, essentially you have a personalized service which replaces the expert you would get if you went to an expensive spa. And, if you do go to a spa for treatments, you can use this at home to touch up. But, once you have this you really don't need to go to a spa anymore. So, it pays for itself quite quickly. It even comes with razors AND protective eyewear. The design allows you to easily get to hard to reach places too. My suggestion is to use it on one part of your body at first for a few days so you can see for yourself that it works. In just a few days you will notice reduced hair growth. I tested my upper lip first. Just use it regularly and you will be blown away how well it works.

I just bought this and this works! I have light brown hair and fair or Caucasian looking skin (I am mixed) I have only done 1 session and the hair hasn’t grown back anywhere near as fast as it normally does! I’m talking about my lady parts aka bikini area. I chose those one because it had the same amount of Jules as the Ulike ones. I have had another one of these that didn’t work at all. This is just as good as Ulike and gives real results! I have some super sensitive areas but the machine remained cool the entire time which is important since I’m a type 1 diabetic. Update: I’m still using it. I have hair growth but in over a week only about 1/8th of an inch worth of hair has grown. Totally worth it!

First I was disappointed that it arrived with the box damaged. Since this will be stored in the box when not using, the dent had to be pulled out in order to get the pieces out and back in. I'm not happy with how it looks. Fortunately none of the components were damaged. It had to be dropped pretty hard to get such a big dent as the product box is very sturdy. The shipping package was not damaged, so it had to have happened in the warehouse and they shipped it anyway. For my first use, I got the device out, installed the app, and connected it to my smartphone. So far, so good. Since I've never used a device like this (or had this treatment provided in a salon), I wanted to be sure I did it correctly as to not damage my skin. The instructions provided are very minimal. And the only video I could find didn't really give any more information. So I gave it a shot, hoping the app would guide me. Well, I turned it on, chose the body part (face) and started. After several minutes (the timer was running on my app) I began to wonder how long I was supposed to be doing this. I figured the app would guide me - but it was just a timer counting up. Apparently, although the app timer was working, it hadn't gone on the pre-programed mode, but was just running on manual. I had no idea how often to move it or keep using for this session. The instructions are seriously lacking. I was doing my upper lip and hopefully I didn't use it too long or at too high of a setting (I didn't check it because I assumed it was on manual mode). When I decided to stop using it, I stopped the timer but it said 0% treated despite my using it for more than 5 minutes. So even though it wasn't on the pre-programed setting, but instead manual - it still didn't track that I used it. I do like that it came with dark protective glasses. I expected them to feel flimsy and they do. But I still kind of worried because there's still a gap between my face and the glasses - so when I use on my upper lip, I worry about my eyes being adequately protected. I gave 3 stars for now because while it seems to be well made and I like the idea of the app - I dislike that it's doesn't give as much guidance as I anticipated. I truly had no idea how long to keep zapping my upper lip area...1 minutes , 3 minutes, 5 minutes? How many times should I zap the same spot. I seriously hope I didn't overdo it and damage my skin! Also, I don't know how well it will work yet removing unwanted hair/stopping it's re-growth. For now, I will keep researching how to get it to actually operate on the pre-programed settings (or if I must use the manual option, what routine I should follow); and hopefully will get the results promised by the manufacturer over the next few weeks and months. I will update my review in the next month or so.

Works well if you consistently use it, it would be cool if it had a bigger window bc it takes quite a long time to do my whole body, also I've dropped it hard at least 20 times bc I leave it plugged in and then accidentally pull the cord and it is still functioning properly so that's good! When I bought it it was only $39 and now I see it's $96, but that was almost 1 year ago.

This has a very bright intense light seems to function. Perfect. Haven’t been using it long enough to notice. If it actually does remove the hair will update when I have more results. Very little pain and easy to use

Bought this during the Prime Day sale and didn’t really have high expectations. I’ve tried a few different IPL ones and was pleasantly surprised by this one. Even though it’s plastic, it doesn’t feel “cheap” and has some weight to it. It comes with some accessories that are useful but not major. I like that it syncs to an app unlike most IPL devices, the app is personalized and setups a treatment plan for how many times to use on the selected body part. Most importantly, because this device has 25joules - that’s why it works and is so effective. I noticed results in less than a week of use.

I got no benefits besides wasted time and burning

First of I would like to comment on the shipping and handling. This is hands down one of the fastest products I have ever received, and that's really saying something as I am "in the middle of nowhere" I do not have the option of same day or even next day shipping. I ordered this product on Friday, and even though it was showing delivery for Monday, I just knew it would be Tuesday at the earliest but it sure enough made it. The product feels well built and while it does have some weight to it, it's not too n heavy. Feels sturdy. I've only got to test the product on a couple test areas and am excited to update on the results! There really wasn't any pain or discomfort, maybe slight irritation? Will post updates.
