Even though the color temperatures appear to be in the same range, I don't know if the lack of voltage might short out the EKE quartz halogen bulb or affect the output quality and/or machine. The instruction manual states that for bulb replacement, to choose a halogen bulb of the same model number, being 24V/150W. Thank you. ### ⭐ European model shipped 220 VAC 50 Hz only - cannot use in North America! *by M***E on February 16, 2019* Illuminator looked new. Something metal was rattling all around inside the power supply area. I was unable to power the illuminator on. It is not possible to use 220V at 50 Hz in North America without spending about $1,500 on a 60 Hz to 50 Hz power converter.
