Works great! Simple to use, just plug it in. Big volume knob. Attractive on desktop. Good sound. Very happy with this speaker.

I now have five sets of compact speakers, this is the best looking and the second-best sounding. (The best cost three times as much - Creative Pebble 2.0). I have these under my monitor that I watch movies on, and they have a good quality bass and clear treble. The only criticism I can make is they are another electronic item with a stupid BRIGHT blue LED surrounding the volume control. I don't know why manufacturers are so in love with those annoying blue LEDs. Anyway, after several layers of black nail polish, the problem is solved. And they have plenty of volume. I cranked the knob all the way up, and where my old Logitech speakers were set at 55, these are the same volume at 30. So yeah, for less than $10.00, they are exceptional speakers. Look and sound good.

They are what they are. Good upgrade for built in computer speakers. They won't rock out your office, but they are OK for what they are. For the price of a couple of beers, you can justify them. Easy set up for me. worked right away. no need to track down a heck of a lot of settings in your system. MEH, they are fine as an easy, cheap upgrade.

Great value for the price. The sound quality is as good as any other computer speaker I have owned. It gets loud and the clarity is great.

I purchased this because it had a nameplate with SPEAKER on it. I was sold. It's like buying a new refrig and it's placarded with COLDBOX. A solid addition to my towers of sound. It says "powered" but that, I believe, means the LED glows under the volume knob. So, if you add this to your collection, it's ideal as a satellite speaker. Stand alone, it's like plugging in some ear buds.

USB is only for power. It needs a 3.5mm jack for audio. Where am I going to find that under a monitor? There is audible noise at any volume setting -- it's very subtle, but it's constant . It produces audible 60Hz tones, as spec'd, but way below -3dB. A more accurate spec is 100Hz. It has a blue glow near the volume knob. There's no way to turn it off, and it's that monochrome blue that difrracts and looks terrible.

Surprisingly good sound from a USB-powered speaker. Looks good next to my desktop PC, too.

Makes a high pitched sustained beep noise when the volume is raised but if you only want it for soft (ans i mean SOFT) background music for studying or work its fine and looks decent for the price. Not good for much else, will probably get a better speaker in the future. Blue light never turns off but doesn't bother me.

Nice little speaker! It's not going to blow any windows out of course, but is perfectly fine for music and gaming.
