Highly recommend. Outside sole on Keen brand obtains every piece of gravel, that's my only complaint
Great boot/shoe. Comfortable, no break in period, well constructed and cool looking. My only complaint about the Keen brand is the outside sole picks up every piece of gravel, and I end up tracking it wherever I go, car, house etc..

Work shoes and more
I bought this for work, as I love the brand, but it’s actually become my go-to for almost everything else because it’s comfortable and a nice solid shape and style.Roomy fit at front. So it’s easy on the foot, and for me, it also keeps me from feeling hot. I sized like I do most athletic shoes. (Note: I “measure at a 9,” but I pretty much always get at least a 9.5 when I buy shoes, and my feet aren’t wide at all). The composite toe isn’t noticeable to me. I always work with them bc I appreciate, and use, the protection. But yeah, I wear these to the stadium, to concerts, to a party…

Great aesthetics but be aware and understanding
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The shoe bottom is stiff like a flank of wood and I recommend folding it in half for a minute to allow it to flex easier when walking. Some discomfort on the inside outer seam when the shoe folds because it has double the material that folds over stiffly which is a trade off between comfort and durability. I wear an 11.5 shoe and prefer wide due to it typically giving a less pointed toebox. Safety toe shoes are naturally rounded so I still choose wide to avoid the hardened toe from irritating my toes or pinching if you kneel. This shoe seems to be a little wider in the foot and toebox than my other keen and timberland safety toe shoes. The toe box I appreciate but the foot area requires more synching to avoid some swimming. I could’ve probably went down a half size and wide would’ve been more fitting but not sure if it was worth the back and forth since it seems I’m between both options. The comfortability is as good as my others in the past while being more casual and not soo over the top looking. When wearing this shoe, I can still smell a rubber/ chemical (NOT like NEW tire smell) smell (while wearing them) after 1 week still.

1 million steps and counting
I am an automotive technology instructor at a busy technical college. I average about 12,000 steps per day at work and often I am at work more than 15 hours. I purchased these shoes in the beginning of April and by my best estimate I have logged about 1 million steps in them since then. They are excellent. They were comfortable right out of the box. They are reasonably stylish (although not a huge concern for me). They have proven to be durable so far. I have spent 40 years on my feet in the industry and these are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn to work in. They are so comfortable that I often wear them when I am not working. I'm considering buying a second pair to keep clean for wearing to other functions. My only complaints are that they don't come in brown and they squeak a bit on our polished concrete floors. That's it. Buy these shoes and treat your tired feet to some relief.

Toebox is not even close to being wide enough
I had to return these because my toes didn't fit at all. Like almost all shoe companies, Keen makes ridiculously narrow toeboxes that don't match the natural shape of the human foot, even when they are labelled "extra wide". As far as alternatives for safety toe shoes, my toes do fit comfortably in the "6D" width by the Hoss brand and they also fit comfortably in the Carets brand "Determination" boots. It's a shame that so many companies like Keen make otherwise good quality shoes with many positive features and good build quality, but they lack the common sense to make the toebox match the actual shape and function of human feet. It's a baffling and absurd situation with the entire footwear industry.

Not very comfortable
I have been wearing steel toes for over42 years. These shoes are the worst ones I ever own. I have worn them daily for 3 weeks and wish I could go to the landfill and find the ones I tossed because they had fallen apart and put them on. Although ugly and worn, they were comfortable. The positive feature of these shoes are that they are light weight due to the composite toe. However, if you have a mid to high arch, the top of the shoe sits on top of your foot. I wear a women’s 10 or a man’s 9. I have tried loosening the shoe laces and I still get a rub. The soles on my feet hurt by the end of a 8-10 hour shift. It is like there is no padding on the insoles. I would not recommend these shoes unless you try them on for size. Due to a family emergency, I haven’t had the time to look for a different pair and chuck these in the trash, But I will do do shortly. I can’t take them anymore.

Smelly and underwhelming durability
I had high hopes for these shoes. My feet don’t hurt at the end of the day 10+ hours, outside of that I don’t think I can buy another pair. Two months old.1: not durable. Deteriorates like a normal tennis shoe, yes comp toe which is great with no issues, but construction of shoe does not allow abuse or repetitive on knees and toes.2: the absolute worst part of this shoe is that they smell awful after a full day of work. I have had complete water proof boots that do not let water in or out that don’t smell this bad. I can’t be in my office for more than 15 minutes without my office smelling like dirty feet the rest of the day.Ultimately I expected more from keen.

Can't go wrong.
Keen is my only choice when it comes to work shoes. I've had this pair for 6 months. I track my steps at work and have easily put over 700 miles on these and they show almost no wear at all. I'm personally very impressed. I will say, unlike some other Keen shoes I've had, these took a little longer to break in. You cannot beat these for the price. Size is true and the fit is perfect for me.

Not as comfortable as other Keens
I’m a huge fan of Keens and have had more than a dozen pairs over the years. These shoes are nowhere near as comfortable as Keens normally are. There’s not nearly as much support as I’m accustomed to with Keens.

Amazon sent me worn shoes
Shoes were obviously worn before. No attempt to even clean the soles and I paid full price for them? The shoes have comfortable insoles. Width is about 11.2cm. Great for my super wide feet. So far feels pretty good. DO BETTER AMAZON.

Light weight
It’s light for sure , but not that much comfort … but at the end it’s a safety shoes so don’t expect that it will be super comfy
