Don’t let it’s size fool you! It’s loud.
I’m quite impressed with this speaker. It’s not the largest that Soundcore (Anker) offers, but it’s perfect for most people. I’ve been buying Anker products for a long time, and this one is proof that the company continues to improve and invent. This speaker can be managed via the Soundcore app which allows you to fine tune your sound, control different light modes, and explore many extras. The app is universal to most of their speaker and headphone products. As for the speaker, don’t let its size fool you. It is crystal clear even at max volume, and offers more bass than you would expect. Very good with rock, pop, country and similar genres. Punchy bass that delivers. The app’s custom EQ lets you pull even more sound out of the speaker at all frequency levels to get the perfect sound for you. The battery life is great, and the light shows are a nice touch. This speaker is easily loud enough to hear from all ends of the average home, and a great distance outside as well. Perfect for poolside, beach, and tailgating situations. If you are looking for a good Bluetooth speaker with rich sound then give this thing a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

Download the soundcore app first.
So I got this thing renewed on Amazon prime days. It was 55 bucks. I also own a JBL flip 6 which is about more or less a third of the volume in size I'm comparing it to the JBL flip 6 because it's a very popular Bluetooth speaker that you may already own or you have a friend that does. The sound core boom 2 does not sound super great out of the box. It's very bassy and the vocals can be muddled. With the app you can slightly boost up some of the treble features and a completely changes the speaker. So I have the left and right sliders on The equalizer slightly bumped up and the second to right and left sliders boosted up kind of towards the middle. The bass button on the actual speaker is separate to The equalizer and I leave it on. I would only probably turn it off at max volume, which should only be done in an outdoors party because this thing does get pretty loud. So I compared my JBL to this thing about 8 ft away from me in a bedroom. The sound core at half volume is roughly as loud as the JBL at full volume. They both perform great but the sound core has way better overall range then the JBL. It's noticeable in the lower bass and lower vocals range. But the entire range is very crisp and clear once it's set up in the soundcore app and it maintains clarity until about the 85% range of volume, then you may want to make adjustments to The equalizer to smooth it out. It doesn't sound bad but pushing any speaker to the max is going to have issues. For the price this is a fantastic buy. I use the JBL because it's small and packs quite a punch in its weight class. I also have an outdoor party speaker the block rocker Plus but it's massive and is more of like a beach/pa speaker for me. The size of the speaker is roughly about the size of a specialty loaf of bread, like a Keto bread or something more artisan. It's got to handle that's built into the actual box and is kind of light feeling. If you find this thing on sale pick it up. Also check out the renewed version, I saved like almost 50 bucks and it's got a couple light scratches and scuffs that you can't see unless you're holding it.

Awesome sound! Rich bass!
Without a doubt, this is the best portable speaker I've owned! I have a bose portable speaker that cost 3 times what I paid for this and the boom2 has equal sound quality and richness! I bought this for lounging in my hottub and the pure sound rises above the noise of the hottub pumps perfectly. I would highly recommend this speaker to anyone who appreciates high quality sound that needs a waterproof portable speaker !

Every day, happy user!
I use this all day, everyday, in a 100sqft bus that I converted and for the last year in a large open barn that I worked in while converting the bus. Some speakers sound great in a small space but flaccid in a large space. In the much larger space (no echos) at 70% volume, we have to really raise our voices to be heard. I've also taken it on rafting and camping trips. I'm not the rattling license plate kind of bass guy, but I like quality, accurate bass way higher volumes than most people can tolerate. This speaker isn't impressive on that level at all, but it is impressive for something the size of a large bread loaf. The lowest notes drop off in volume and the bass drum isn't crisp like a sealed 12, for obvious reasons. But I still find myself turning the bass boost off on a lot of situations to be respectful of neighbors. Battery life is great. I try to keep it plugged in just so the music never quits, but never think twice about setting it unplugged on the workbench with bass on for hours on end, or using it to watch movies and shows in bed for hours. I build lots of things, usually overbuilt, and am highly critical of poorly engineered plastic crap. This feels remarkably solid. Silicone buttons don't feel like they'll leak or break. Handle is beyond overkill. Grill over speakers is very stiff. Passive woofers on side are exposed, but slightly recessed like an hd phone case. I even left the back port uncovered for a day of rafting once and it didn't die. Impressive Bluetooth distance too.

Great choice, excellent sound for big spaces, gotta be ok with it not being tiny
I love the sound, the larger design is actually great for me (bigger than some portable speakers but easy to carry and it doesn't look awkward sitting in my living room). I play it in large spaces and it fills the room way better than two other speakers I tried. You lose a star for two issues. 1. Being dumb about easy design issues. Add a button...why on earth would anyone think using he Bass button would have anything to do with changing or turning on/off the lights? And make the logos smaller. I already bought the thing, it's not a billboard. 2. Slightly quirky sound. Could have better range when quiet. Experienced an awful glitch when somebody calls when I'm playing music...they hang up before I answer and the speaker jumps to max volume. Holy crap it about blew my left eardrum out (can't prove whether that's you or Apple technically).

Polecam go + gwarancje Amazona ;-)

Szybkie parowanie poprzez bluetooth. Polecam z czystym symieniem!
