A cartridge belt is measured differently from a regular pants belt - it's important you measure over your jeans along the line you will be wearing your belt.

great workmanship
Very high quality. Good quality leather and high quality fabrication. There is a lot of leather forming this belt and quite a bit of cutting and sewing the various pieces together. When you compare the cost of this gun belt to the cost of a regular men's 1" wide pants belt - this gun belt is a terrific value. As far as size, I wear size 40 bluejeans and I bought my first gun belt at 48 inches - I can wear it, but it is on the second from last hole. I ordered a second gun belt in size 50 and it fits perfectly - using the middle hole. One thing I noticed is the 48 inch belt is exactly the same length as my regular pants belt - which are size 48. So one way to calculate your gun belt size is to look at your regular pants belt - add 2 extra inches because the gun belt will go over your pants belt

Perfect gun-belt, exactly what I was looking for!
I already owned a brown leather holster for my Ruger New Vaquero in 45 long colt. I wanted a legit western style brown leather gun-belt, same style/color as my holster, and this one seemed to fit the bill. One thing about the sizing.... Please ignore ALL advice that tells you to order a larger than normal size gun-belt. It is BAD advice!! Just please order the gun-belt as you would a normal belt for the most part. I'm a size 38 pants size 40 belt. First I listened to the advice and ordered a size 46 gunbelt. Was WAAAAAY too big. Not even close to fitting. Then I ordered a size 42, and that fit much better, but still on the large size. Should have just ordered a size 40 to begin with!! Which is what I would have done, if it wasn't for the stupid advice all over. Idk what people are talking about in other reviews when it comes to buying larger sizes. I read one review where the guy said he's a size 40 belt but ordered a size 50 gun-belt and fit perfect? Makes no sense to me. Another claimed to be size 38 pants, and said he was barely fitting into the size 46 gun belt. Again, makes no sense. You should trust me, not these other reviews, for the size. Just order the normal size. Even if you want to wear it loose or with a slant.. there are enough holes to accommodate that... but you need to just get the regular size belt for you. I'm guessing that size 40 is going to be a popular size that fits alot of men.As for the belt itself, the leather seems good quality, smells like fresh leather, real nice. Seems sturdy enough to hold up over time. As for the cartridge loops... they all work perfect, except for the first and last loop on each side, for my belt, they seem to be just a little bit more loose than the other loops. And because of that, I don't put a round in those 2 loops. They mostly stay in there but can possibly fall out or start sagging/losing grip of the round. Not a huge deal for me but thought I'd mention it. I was considering buying very expensive nice gun belts, upwards of 300-400$+ but ended up deciding to get a lower price one. And considering the price, this gun belt is the best one for me. Very happy with it. I can do all the cool western/cowboy stuff I've wanted to do, gun spinning, using the holster, stomping around my neighborhood wearing it, etc. lol No regrets with this gun-belt. Especially for the low price, it's everything I wanted out of a leather gun-belt. Just need a cowboy hat and some boots and I'm a legit cowboy haha

Great Deal on a Heavy Duty Cartridge Belt
I opened up the package and the smell of fresh leather filled the room. The belt is very thick, heavy and well made, the same with the cartridge loops. It will stand up to many years of heavy use and still look great. The belt itself is a medium dark brown and matched my tooled holster extremely well, they look like they were made for each other. I'm carrying a heavy S&W .44 Magnum and the belt is perfect for the weight. I couldn't have found a better match to my needs if I had searched for months and spent twice the money. Shipping was ultra fast. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great cartridge belt.

Great belt at an excellent price!
Got this belt, to go with my .45 Colt sngle action revolver holster (Uberti replica, Cattleman model). Really nicely made, goes well with the gun.only caveat: I am an honest 37 to 38" waist (depends on the time of day), and if length was any shorter, would not fit me, but it does for my size, just that I had better not put on any more weight.Any, get it, get a good cowboy holster and a .45 Colt! It made this 64 year old feel 12 again!

44/45 Colt belt
Arrived early. Stitching was very good a4nd well oiled leather. Buckle seemed small to me compared to my other rigs but that is not that important. FIt was excellent and does hold 18 rounds of 45LC or 44 Special/Mag. Color was more Chocolate than Brown but it's fine with me because it works and does what it is supposed to. Will buy from vendor again.

Quality made, reasonable cost.
I use this belt for Cowboy Fast Draw and it has proven itself to be up to the task. This is a well made, durable quality leather gun belt. The loops fit the .45 Colt cartridges perfectly. The thick leather securely holds my holster in place with no flex or sag. It is about 30%, less expensive than a comparable belt offered by fast draw rig producers. I highly recommend this belt.

Be careful when buying
I bought for my new pistol, followed the in struction on doing the measurements, not acurate. I can barly fasten to the first hole and when compared to the belt I wear its 3" shorter. I have a 38 waiste and 44 belt order a 44" and to small I recomend getting 4" larger then what the instructions say. Because some of these place will not do returns.
