Hamilton Beach MultiBlend Blender for Smoothies with BPA Free 32 oz. Jar

I'm i'm love with this blender, the noise level it's ok for me, have a Lot of power, very durable because of the material, it's very easy to clean looks elegant i'm My kitchen , have not leakagw usinng it.

My Nutribullet was on the way out, it became so loud it was unbearable to use. I decided I needed a good blender and smoothie maker but did not want a huge heavy machine since I do not leave on my countertop. this is perfect, the base is not heavy and it blends, mixes and smoothies terrific! Great buy

TL;DR: A decent blender for the money. I've used this weekly for the past 4 years to blend smoothies including frozen fruit. It's finally given in. Does the trick just fine. Sometimes you have to stop it and use a spoon to mix things around so it doesn't just blend the bottom without circulating. This isn't something the $200+ blenders do much better, so that's alright. Just use more liquid or let your frozen stuff thaw a bit first. It's a bit loud, but really they all are. I haven't found a need for various speed settings, so I actually like that there's two buttons on this thing. Now for the video. It started smelling a bit and slowing down (may have been because a collision with a spoon...) so I expected it to be at the end of its life. As a curious engineer, i screwed it open to look inside. It's extremely simple (has to be for that price, try buying a single 650W DC motor for under $30), so the switch is connected directly to the motor. The motor is a brushed DC motor, which means it has this thing called a 'commutator' which wears out over time. Any commutator might spark a little bit which is normal. In my case, the commutator started degrading to the point that it sparked enough to create small flames, causing the burnt rubber smell. I was able to clean it up and get it to run properly again, but that's just for fun, this guy is not gonna get used again. If you're thinking 'a blender is just a big motor and the more expensive ones are more expensive for no reason', you're wrong. There's different types of motors like the brushless DC motor which are more expensive but have a much longer expected lifetime. This thing is engineered pretty well, and because it's so simple, it lasted 4 years of regular use.

I love that this blender came with blender cups and one chopping cup. I love my new blender. I had purchased a cheaper blender in 2017. I was using a lot this year for making green smoothies,because I was on the JJ Smolith 10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse. I got this because my blender was not working that night and It needed to start the cleanse the next day. It did come,but thank God my old blender started to work again. Since using it a lot recently for the cleanse and after cleanse my old blender stopped working and I had this blender as a backup. Glad I purchased this blender. It works well. Much more power than my last $12 blender from Amazon called Westinghouse,I believe. Anyway,You will not regret your purchase. I love this blender. I was going to give this as a gift,but glad I did not.

I at first loved this, then just yesterday the motor started smoking and died. I don't think I had had this more than 3 months... im so very disappointed. I paid not premium price but I have a very fixed income and try very hard to live as healthy as I can. I am also a vegetarian so smoothies are a very crucial part of my diet...i have to wait to next month as I am on social security to get another blender...i am so very angry...

My old blender died. I always hated how big it. It took up a lot of space on my counter. I couldn't use it often because it was so cumbersome to clean. This blender intrigued me because of the to go cups. I sometimes miss meals because I just don't have time to cook. I have bought those shake mixes but they are boring after a while just mixing with milk or water. With this blender I can throw in some fresh or frozen fruit, blend a shake in 20 seconds, and walk out the door to work. Switching from one to the other is very easy, and clean up is a breeze. This blender has a nice size main canister, but it does not take up the entire counter. I also love that it is lightweight - no heavy glass jar. Another daily use item for me.

After all the great reviews, I bought this to make smoothies. The first time it worked ok - fresh mangos, frozen raspberries, yogurt, non-fat milk. I constantly had to stop to mix the yogurt to even it out,, but I thought maybe I overloaded it. Second time thinking the yogurt was the problem, I used the same ingredients without it. This time the blender wouldn't even completely cut up the fresh mangos - forget the frozen raspberries. If I still had the box I'd return it. Instead I threw out money and am not a happy camper. The only good thing is that it's not very big so it won't take up that much space in the landfill. Update: I tried it again this morning before it definitely hit the landfill. This time I used pulse instead of just on, and it worked better. Still not great, but at least the fresh and frozen fruit did get chopped up. Guess I'll keep using it for awhile.

I'm so impressed with this blender that I had to go back and review. I got it as a temporary solution, expecting it to fail within a couple of months (especially after reading some reviews). I just needed something cheap which I would probably not take with me when I moved so I got what I thought was a 'store brand' version of the more popular blender you might know. This blender has not failed after one year and it's been used nearly every day for protein shakes and smoothies. I've crushed ice, fruit, veggies and it cared not. The cups are very convenient for making quick shakes while the blade is possibly the easiest to clean, due to the design (the blade comes off with a quick twist when you lift the cup, no need to disassemble anything or reach into anything). It' a great durable convenient package which I highly recommend.

Works very well. I am being very careful with it not to leave it on too long and if I do I give it rests in between pulses and do not put anything to hot in it based on some of the other reviews I read but it works well and I really love it.

As I have two kitchens I always wanted something small for my pantry type kitchen. Already with many appliances on the deck this one is my fav addition which I was looking for. Be if morning juice or making spread or chutney it does it all. The attachment of 3 jars are quite efficient. Unless you lock the jar the motor won’t start. Lot of thought given to the design. I wish to buy the beach Hamilton someday. Till now I am happy with the smaller one. Great product. Less sound. Perfect for small kitchens. May be big expensive for India but fine if you appreciate the good product n design.

It is a great blender for smoothies and making paste for cooking! The travel mugs are add ons as i do not have to wory for something to carry for my work after making a smoothie or ice coffee! Durability 10/10 a built looks like it will serve a year or more Functionality 9/10 (the travel cups are a bonus but if the could be used for blending then it would be perfect) Quality 10/10 Would I buy it again if needed? - Definitely
