THE ADVENTURE BEGINS as young Sir Rolland enrolls in the secret Woodshire Academy of Dragon Slaying in his quest to become a Knight of Light. In this first chronicle, Sir Rolland comes to discover what a real dragon is, and he is badly wounded by the first and deadliest of all dragons. With the help of his guild master and a legendary Lady of Grace, he must find healing and learn the weapon and armor needed to obtain the greatest and only real power to slay a dragon. Review: The Red Dragon of Pride - The Red Dragon of Pride is the first book in a captivating series of seven. It teaches children about pridefulness and the dangers that can come from being too prideful in an engaging and age-appropriate way. The story is catchy and entertaining, keeping readers interested from beginning to end and making them want to continue reading. It is a thoughtful book that offers an important lesson while still being fun and enjoyable for children. Review: Great find! - I picked up Facing, Fighting, & Defeating The Red Dragon of Pride: The Chronicles of Sir Rolland Paterlot (The 7 Deadly Dragons) out of curiosity, and I found it to be a unique and thought-provoking read. The story uses a fantasy-style narrative to explore the theme of pride in a very symbolic and engaging way, which makes it different from a typical self-help or inspirational book. The writing is descriptive and imaginative, and the โdragonโ metaphor for pride is easy to understand while still feeling meaningful. I appreciated how the book blends storytelling with life lessons, making it more engaging than a straightforward motivational read. It encourages reflection on personal character and behavior in a way that feels accessible. The pacing is steady, and the chapters are structured in a way that makes it easy to follow. It feels like a mix between a moral allegory and a fantasy adventure, which could appeal to readers who enjoy both genres. That said, the style may not be for everyone. Some readers might prefer a more direct or modern approach to self-improvement content rather than a symbolic or medieval storytelling format. At times, the narrative can feel a bit formal or repetitive depending on personal taste. Overall, this is an interesting and creative book with a strong moral message about overcoming pride. I would recommend it to readers who enjoy allegorical stories, faith-based themes, or motivational lessons wrapped in fantasy storytelling.

Kid approved!
My 11yo son LOVED this book and asked me to buy the others. I left it on his nightstand one night to see if he'd pick it up and he read it in 2 days. Great way to keep your child's mind aware of their soul

A must for Catholic families looking to grow in virtue
Seriously the most amazing book to bring our family closer to God. It takes a fantasy vibe mixed with morals and values of the church and makes a book that not only my son loves , but that I enjoy reading to him too. My son started his classes to prepare him for first holy communion next year and I feel this is a great introduction to prepare him for living a life closer to God. It has a great story and doesnโt feel too preachy. We are excited to get the other books in the series!

What pride looks life in a young persons life.
Loved it. Very clever with an adventurous story line and weaving in catholic concepts regarding truth and doing the right thing. Writes about temptations facing characters regarding pride in being the best, and looking down on other kids who are not as talented. Very readable. Mentions confessions, going to mass, scapulars.
