Green Maya FINCA RUMANIA is sourced from a family own farm located near the municipality of El Congo within the department of Santa Ana, El Salvador. Rosa Mena de Lima inherited Finca Rumania from her father, Alfredo Mena Lagos. The farm has been certified organic for the last ten years and also has been certified by the Rainforest Alliance and the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center. Finca Rumania has a diverse canopy of trees that includes balsam fir, saman, cedar, mahogany, and walnut. Finca Rumania also has an ideal micro-climate for coffee cultivation because of its location in the Apaneca/Ilametepec mountain range, one of the most prestigious areas of coffee cultivation in the country.
