I have been scuba diving for 46 years, and have been through several dive computers over the years. I have nothing but good things to say about the Shearwater Turn Tx with transmitter. As soon as I received it, in my garage, it took me about 30 min to set it up the way I want it and pair it with the transmitter. The next day I did three 100 foot wreck dives with it. This computer did everything I want it to, and nothing I didn't want it to do. It is very user friendly and the color screen is fantastic. You can set it to display the info you want, not the the info you don't want. It also has a watch setting, so you can wear it as a watch before and after your dives. If you do recreational Air and/or Nitrox diving, and have no plans to do trimix, helium, rebreathers, or tech diving, I highly recommend this computer. If you do plan to get into tech diving, Shearwater has other models for that. I absolutely love the Shearwater Turn Tx!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: As far as dive computers go, Shearwater is the best. Yes, there are other computers that are multi function and have smart watch capabilities, but if you're looking for strictly a dive computer you can't go wrong with Shearwater. The user interface is fantastic. It's very easy to navigate through the menus. And the wireless charger is works well. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

My reliably solid Suunto D6i dive computer would no longer go into 'gauge' mode after several hundred hours of use and this Shearwater was recommended so I went for it. And I'm delighted with this upgrade! With solid algorithms, easy interface and a lighted dial during night dives I wonder why I waited so long. And the best part is that I no longer have to send it in for fresh batteries every couple hundred dives, because it's easily rechargeable. Also, the transmitter reads perfectly and that battery is an easy swap when needed. Last, I chose this model for it's compass feature and as a bonus the aesthetics give it a cool watch look.

Intuitive, easy to use and easy to see. This is my second dive computer and the first one I got seems like a waste of money now.
