Buy it - you won't be disappointed.
love this. It's the best times table cd I've ever heard and i've checked out many before plumping for this one - so glad I did. the songs are all different styles, interesting enough to listen to without getting bored after the first one. the singers really put enthusiasm into the lesson they are getting across.teaches them in the order they are generally taught in schools... the easier ones first 2's, 5's 10's etc. after each song it sings through the tables leaving a gap for you to shout out the answers which is a sensible enough pause.highly recommended

Good catchy songs so far
Brought for my 6 year old to learn the times tables. Songs are great. I would have liked a bit more repetition instead of saying them once and then expecting the children to say them Without help the second time but hopefully in time she will be able to do so this.

the singing is great, tunes varied and lyrics catchy
If you can listen past the first badly sung times table on this CD then you'll understand why I've rated this a 5 star product. The 2 times table aside, the singing is great, tunes varied and lyrics catchy. I listened to 3 other Times Tables CDs from Amazon, and IMHO this one is the best by far. Humorous and engaging, it even got my 10 year old son + 7 year old daughter happily shouting out the answers driving along in the car.

does the job, but...
Not the best songs ever but there wasn't much to choose from out there. The male singer doesn't have the greatest singing voice and some of the songs are a bit irritating, especially when they 'put on' the "American" accents. I went out of my way to look for British songs to teach my kids the times tables so I found those songs a bit irritating, especially when the accents were done so poorly. One of the songs I wasn't sure if the singers were trying to be Australian or American. Also each song only actually sings through the times table once, then spends the rest of the time "quizing" the child. So 1 x 2 is ....? 2 x 2 is ... ? Without giving the answer, which isnt that helpful for teaching them because they cant be bothered to answer the questions. Overall, its OK, and my kids do listen to the songs in the car and are learning, but there is definitely room for improvement in my opinion. I cant complain about the price which was very fair.

It has some brilliant music on it including blues
Have never bothered reviewing before but felt I had to with this CD.I bought this as my son loves numbers and I could do with some practice on my times table myself! This is not, as I feared it would be, an irritating nursery rhyme or cheap pop music CD. It has some brilliant music on it including blues, folk, rock, country etc. The lyrics are imaginative and had me laughing a lot! Great item that will not be hidden away any time soon for being too annoying! Excellent for kids and adults too.Highly recommend.

Great tool from pre-school to secondary!
Every day on the way to school and at pick up my grandchildren ASK for this to be played. Wow, who knew getting little ones to learn could be so enjoyable! They love it. I have a four year year old, five year old and a ten year old and all three happily sing along.Great tool for learning

Child loved it.
Six year old loves listening to it in the car. A very good rote learning aid. Does not teach the concept of multiplication, but that is ok as chanting along & driving the adults mad makes him happy !

Avoid
I played these songs in my car whilst doing a 30 minute journey to school with my grandson, they got on my nerves, the sound, the tone and nearly ran over a little boy because I was concentrating so hard on the answers my grandson was giving!
