Product Description The street rod phenomenon really got going in the early 1950s. There was a good supply of old 29s Fords around, and the overhead valve V-8s were hitting the market. This was the ideal combination for a young man who was good with his hands. The Model A Street Rods were light, powerful and cheap to build. But most importantly they were very fast. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the actual length/width of this car when assembled?  It gives 30 x 30 x 30 inches for 'product dimensions' - that's 2 1/2 feet!**
A: I don't know the actual assembled measurements of the car, but was very disappointed in this kit.  I didn't put it together. The car is only about twice the size of a Matchbox car.

**Q: Is it pre painted?**
A: No it doesn't come pre-painted. It's one of the better models that I built. It's actually a very good model for the price.

A: no.  glue and paint have always needed to be purchased separately in all the models I've built.

A: 149 Haven’t built it yet but should be fun!
