Nice serum with great hydrating ingredients but expensive and doesn’t last long enough for price.

LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA (LAVENDER) FLOWER EXTRACT, 1,2-HEX- ANEDIOL, PENTYLENE GLYCOL I checked the ingredients using an online checker which shows any ingredients that could cause irritation. This serum is paraben, sulphate, alcohol, silicone and allergen free. It’s really rare to find a serum that has no ingredients that aggravate oily/acne-prone or sensitive skin, so I was really impressed. I’ve used hyaluronic acid before but I’ve never used Polyglutamic Acid. It’s supposed to be even more hydrating and plumping, so I thought I’d give it a go. I have very sensitive skin, so I did a patch test. I put some of the serum behind my ear and left it for about 24 hours. I didn’t get a reaction, so applied a little to a small area on my neck. Again, no reaction, so I was able to use it on my face without issues. I don’t have deep wrinkles, but I am getting some nasolabial folds (the ones at the side of the nose and mouth) and some creases on my forehead that I want to improve the appearance of. This product does improve the look of my lines and makes my skin take on a healthy glow. Unlike some other serums I’ve used, this one isn’t sticky, so I don’t mind having it on my face during the day. The ingredients don’t have many conflicts, so I can use it alongside the other serums I use to tackle hyperpigmentation, ageing and acne (niacinamide, retinol, ascorbic acid, arbutin). I only use a few drops to get good coverage on my face, so I expect this bottle to last a long time.

The bottle is quite small but similar in size to similar products. Inside is a light blue liquid, the main ingredient listed on the bottle is water. The liquid has a slight odour but isn’t noticeable after using it. The liquid is applied with a dropper onto the face and I like that it remains as a drop on the skin ready to be spread onto the skin with your fingers. I can’t comment on it’s effectiveness as it’s a new product for me.

This serum is highly effective at adding moisture to the skin, and keeping the moisture locked in. It contains both hyaluronic acid and glycerin. Both of these ingredients are well known for keeping skin well hydrated. However, the main active ingredient in this serum is Polyglutamic acid. This has been proven to be an even more effective moisturiser than hyaluronic acid and glycerin, so this serum delivers an impressive triple moisture boost. As with all ANAiRUi products, natural botanical ingredients are always included into the blend. The ones included in this particular serum are Portulaca Oleracea extract, more commonly known as Purslane extract. This has many beneficial qualities for use in skin care, helping to calm skin irritation, heal blemishes and reduce redness. It also contains Gardenia Florida fruit extract, which is a powerful antioxidant that is also used for skin brightening. Aloe Vera leaf extract and lavender flower extract are included for their soothing and calming effects. When using the product, I would say it smells perfume-free, with just a slight hint of odour that you would expect to be present from the blend of different scientific ingredients. The serum comes in a professional looking outer box, containing the serum in a glass bottle, with a glass dropper for dispensing. Once opened, the product has a 12-month shelf life. This serum is a very pretty delicate pale blue colour, and has a thick texture, which does not run down if applied directly to your face. It rubs in easily, but feels sticky on the surface of the skin for a few minutes. This quickly disappears if you use light sweeping stokes with your fingertips to evenly disperse it. This serum leaves a slight soft sheen on the skin, which just looks like a healthy glow, and it has a noticeable skin brightening effect right from the very first application. If you touch your skin much later on, it feels like it has a smooth and even, soft protective layer over it. To use this product, you apply 3-5 drops to clean and dry skin, on your face and neck area. You can also use this on the backs of hands if they are looking tired, old and dry. For best results, you then follow with a moisturiser. I alternative between using a few different serums made by the same brand over, their products are all so good, and never disappoint me. I do tend to use this particular one more on my hands. They are always much dryer than my face ever gets. I can definitely see a difference in skin plumpness after a few minutes of rubbing this serum in, so it really does work. I would certainly buy it again myself.

This is my first time using a polyglutamic acid serum as I usually go for hyaluronic acid ones. Although this serum contains hyaluronic acid and glycerin, polyglutamic acid is said to be even more hydrating than hyaluronic acid. The serum is beautifully presented in a light blue, boxed glass jar. I prefer my beauty products in glass jars as I think it gives them a more premium feel than plastic tubes, so my first impressions were good. There is a pipette in the lid for easy dispensing. The instructions state to use 3 to 5 drops of the serum AM and PM. I find that I need to use 5 to 7 generous size drops to get desired coverage on my face. The serum is thicker than water but not as thick as a gel. It's colourless and odourless. It absorbs nicely into my skin leaving no residue. The instructions state to follow with a moisturiser which I do as I find I get a nicer feel to my skin if I moisturise afterwards. The serum claims to deeply nourish skin, enhance the elasticity and smooth fine lines. Results from beauty products vary wildly from person to person and it's very much trial and error to find out what works best for each individual. For me, I like the serum. It gives my skin a nice subtle glow and a tightening feeling, but I do feel I need to use in conjunction with a moisturiser for best results.

As someone with very sensitive skin, I always do a lot of research when trying a new product. Sadly, with the ANAiRUi Polyglutamic Acid Serum - THE FULL INGREDIENTS ARE NOT LISTED ON THE PRODUCT PAGE at the time of writing this review (20/05/2024). I didn't have the full ingredients until the ANAiRUi Polyglutamic Acid Serum arrived and I was able to read the box and only then did I find out that it contains Lavandula Angustifolia (a plant based, volatile oil derived from Lavender). The ingredient list doesn't show the percentages/amounts of the ingredients used but as Lavandula Angustifolia can cause skin sensitivity, even at very low amounts, I'm not prepared to take the risk of using this product especially as the sensitivity doesn't necessarily happen from first use and can appear at a later date with increased risk of sensitivity from continued use. There are so many face serums available these days so it's easy to look at the "main" ingredients and not think about the others, especially if they're not listed, so I absolutely recommend checking to see if the full ingredients are listed for a product and that you research them before you buy. Based on the inclusion of Lavandula Angustifolia in this product, I do not recommend it and will not be using it. (I also strongly recommend taking the "before and after" pictures with a heavy dose of something healthier than salt because they're 100% not real and are absolutely photoshopped. I say this as a graphic designer and artist who uses photoshop every day and also as a person who has actual, not airbrushed or filtered skin who believes in realistic beauty standards),

I very much liked this serum although at first a bit perturbed by it's blue colour, I soldiered on and have been applying it to my face and neck after cleansing. It is not that viscous, but enough to be easy to apply, you only need a few drops. My face felt slightly sticky, refreshed and hydrated and, dare I say, my skin glowed in a good way and looked plumped, more so than my usual hyaluroninc acid serum. I have no idea what Polyglutamic Acid is but the product details do say that this is a new ingredient so maybe that is why the product feels so lovely on the skin and why skin looks so good after application. I follow up with eye cream and moisturiser and had no problems will pilling and no watery eyes as can happen with some skin care products. I also patch tested before use without issue and, have used this morning and evening for several days now with no signs of irritation. I will not repeat here what it says in the product description save for what it purports to do, improve and deeply hydrate, it really does appear to. It is, I believe of Swiss origin and that can tend to good quality products and reviewing the manufacturer - you must do your own research - the aim is to produce natural repair skincare products. Possibly the price is a little more than I would normally pay for a hyaluronic acid serum but, this is more than that and so worth it as a little will go a long way and you only need a little to see results. I really like this product.

Das Serum kommt in einer Glasflasche mit Pipetten-Verschluss. Ich hatte ja schon viele schöne Kosmetikflaschen, aber dieses gehört definitiv zu den Top 5. Die Flasche ist wunderschön kräftig türkis und hat einen goldenen Verschluss, abgeschlossen durch einen weißen Gummi (Pipette). Das macht sich im Badezimmer unglaublich gut. Ein toller Hingucker. Jedes Mal wenn ich ins Bad gehe, freue ich mich alleine schon am Anblick der wunderhübschen Flasche. Mich erinnert dass jedes Mal an die Karibik - Postkarten Strand :-) Aber nun zum Serum selbst: Das Serum hat eine wunderschöne transparent-türkise Farbe. Es ist relativ flüssig, wobei ein Tropfen nicht auseinanderfließt, sondern "stehen bleibt". Es ist sehr einfach zu verteilen, auch im Gesicht - im Stehen vor dem Spiegel. Das Serum ist geruchsneutral und zieht super schnell ein. Es hinterlässt ein schönes Hautbild und pflegt gut (Inhaltsstoff: u.a. Glycerin). Der Hersteller gibt ein MHD von fast 3 Jahren nach Erhalt an. Wenn das Produkt geöffnet wurde, was ich natürlich sofort gemacht habe, hält es noch 12 wunderschöne Monate. Leider sind die Produkthinweise und -informationen nur in Englisch auf der Packung. Das ist sehr schade, denn nicht jeder wird das lesen können. Insgesamt gebe ich 5 Sterne für ein gutes Serum in einer wunderschönen Flasche.

J'ai une peau hyper sensible et le produit me convient. Est-il efficace ? Je n'ai pas assez de recul pour témoigner c'est pourquoi je mets 4 étoiles. Néanmoins, si vous avez une peau de vraie blonde, fine et hypersensible, ce sérum est très bien toléré.

Natürlich benötigt man für solche Produkte eine längere Anwendungsdauer, um einschätzen zu können, ob sie exakt das halten, was sie versprechen. Daher ist dies nur meine momentane Meinung, die ich gegebenenfalls mit der Zeit ändern oder ergänzen werde. Vor der abendlichen Anwendung (morgens benutze ich ein anderes Produkt dieser Marke) wasche ich mein Gesicht, trage einen Toner auf und anschließend dieses Serum. Es wird wirklich nur sehr wenig benötigt und lässt sich super verteilen. Das Serum ist geruchsneutral, dadurch "beißt" es sich nicht mit meinem Feuchtigkeitsgel, das ich am Schluß auftrage. Meiner Haut tut diese Pflegeroutine sehr gut, sie wirkt glatter, angenehm erfrischt und ich habe generell das Gefühl, mir etwas Gutes zu gönnen. Auch die Verträglichkeit ist bei mir sehr gut, deshalb kann ich es - Stand jetzt - guten Gewissens empfehlen.
