Great option for not hardwiring
I like many others bought a Nest Hello and needed to run wiring for my doorbell because the previous owner didnt have any. Where my doorbell is located is in a very tough spot to be able to fish wire down so i looked for alternatives. I came across this item and it has worked exactly as described and my doorbell is fully operational and works great. I simply use a Google Home Mini as my chime which has also come in handy. I have recommended this item to several who were in the same predicament i was in.

In case you need an extension cable
The power supply comes with its own cable, but depending on how you want to mount things, you should probably just go ahead and buy this. I realized that I needed a few extra feet of wire to mount the Nest cam where I wanted it and this is a better idea than buying an extension cord just for the power supply.
