After enduring the recent UK heatwave, I decided to invest in a fan for my work-from-home office. I had three main requirements: it needed to be quiet, look good on my desk, and offer a high degree of adjustability in both speed and oscillation. The Sefte delivers on all fronts. On its lower settings, the Sefte is genuinely quiet. While you can tell it’s running, the sound is never obtrusive. I’ve used it during calls - even with a sensitive condenser mic - and it’s virtually undetectable in the background. With headphones on, it fades into the background entirely, even without music playing. It’s also a dream for hot nights, being very easy to sleep beside. Positioned next to my window, the Sefte feels like having a mini air conditioner on my desk, pulling in and circulating cool air throughout the room. The size is just right for my desk, sitting between me and the window - but those with smaller workspaces should consider the smaller Sefte. The integrated remote control is a thoughtful touch, it works reliably and tucks away neatly into the fan, so it never gets lost. The touch-sensitive buttons on the front are responsive every single time, unlike the frustrating “touch” buttons on some other devices. The level of control is outstanding. I typically use the lowest horizontal and vertical oscillation settings for a direct, gentle breeze while working at my desk. When I want to cool the whole room, I simply widen the oscillation and increase the speed. The base display is another highlight. It shows the current temperature, mode, speed, and oscillation settings at a glance. While I suspect the temperature reading might be a touch higher than actual room temp, it’s still a useful reference. The display dims after a period of inactivity but remains legible, and you can turn it off completely at night for total darkness. One of the Sefte’s standout features is its low operating cost. This is especially valuable in hotter climates or for those who plan to use their fan for extended periods. It also has a 3 year warranty at the time of buying, for extra peace of mind.

The best fan I have ever owned. Quiet. Effective. Attractive. Affordable. It comes already put together with an easy to understand & to use remote control. Works plugged into the mains. Easy to operate. There’s nothing flimsy about it as it seems v well built. A great size. Sits conveniently on a table or counter top. Light so easy to carry. The MeacoFan Sefte® Table Fan has been an excellent addition to my home. It’s incredibly quiet, even on higher settings, which makes it perfect for work, sleep, or relaxing without any background noise. The airflow is smooth and effective, and the eco mode that adjusts to the room temperature is a smart and energy-saving feature. The design is sleek and modern, and it fits perfectly on a desk or bedside table. My only minor gripe is the remote – it feels a bit flimsy, and the glow-in-the-dark buttons don’t really work. LED backlit buttons would have been a better choice for nighttime use. Overall, I’m really happy with this fan and hope it lasts a good few years without developing any of the clicking or noise issues that can affect other fans over time. So far, it’s been excellent — highly recommended!

Very good and quiet product (top Which Magazine Best Buy 2025). It has to be regulated digitally though, and, personally, I struggled to understand how to tune it to spec without the manual. So it isn't totally intuitive, if compared to say your old-fashioned average fan, where you set things manually within a few grips. Noise level is very low, and it has day and night settings and a thermostat inbuilt. It covers huge area of any room, in terms of upper and lower left and right areas.

Not much to dislike. This lives up to its claim of being quiet. It even has a ‘night’ mode that turns off the little beeps it makes when it turns on/off etc. Pleased with this purchase as I bought to be used mainly in the bedroom. Nice touch that the remote control is magnetic and fits into the centre of the fan when not in use/storage. Manual fully explains about how to use the MeacoFan Sefte 10” table air circulator. Can also be operated using the controls on its base. No assembly required, apart from connecting the power cable. Manual explains how to remove the front grill to allow cleaning of the blades. An impressive ‘fan’ that despite the price tag I think is worth the money. Have bought cheaper fans in the past that are outclassed by this. Comes well package and registration for the warranty is straight forward.

I'm perhaps not using this as it is intended - this is maybe meant to stir the air in a whole room, while I am putting it a metre behind my head to keep me cool at my desk! As a result I'm using it on minimum power, but it does the job well. It is genuinely quiet - my officemate has commented that she can't hear it, and it remains nearly silent at least half way into the power range. It is powerful; the top few settings probably aren't usable in an office context because they would blow papers around. The feature that adjusts the speed automatically according to the temperature isn't really useful, because it isn't adjustable - the designers set what temperature should cause what fan speed, and there's no way to change this. It's slightly irritating that some features are only available on the remote control, but the way that the remote attaches magnetically to the fan does at least make it harder to lose. Expensive, but worth it if you need quiet.

Absolutely fantastic fan! Very pleased with my purchase. I love the eco mode that adjusts the fan depending on what temperature it is. I love the temperature display. I love the multiple oscillating movements. I love the timer and sleep control. I basically love my new fan. High quality and well put together. Definitely worth the money. Oh and yes, it is very quiet!

What a beautiful fan im actually blown away excuse my pun by this super quiet fan. I bought the model that courses horizontally and vertically and it can reach every inch of the room if placed in a corner. I was concerned about any noise but you can safely have it in the bedroom it’s so quiet. I sometimes have to check it’s still running it’s so quiet. To think all this and it’s super cheap to run , a bit of a no brainer!
