    Big Mistake

I have only just tried this product and I am loathe to give it any stars at all. I have never used psyllium husk powder before but I found a recipe using it to make low-carb burger buns so I decided to give it a go. After reading reviews for other brands of this product, some of which said the bread turned out purple, I went for this one as there was no mention of this. Well, my bread (if it can be called that) did turn out purple and was completely inedible. Instead of the fluffy crusty buns I was expecting I ended up with purple splats that looked disgusting and tasted worse. However, even if this had not been the case, I wouldn't have purchased the product again because of the cost. The recipe I used was American and asked for 5 tablespoons which, I believe equate more to UK dessertspoons. Even so, the pack size was barely enough for the recipe which could be why my bread stayed soggy in the middle despite having had the required cooking time. All in all it was a very expensive experiment which I will not be repeating.
