This original design reversible wooden jaguar or panther head pendant is artfully hand carved in Desert Ironwood, a rare hardwood that can be found only in remote parts of the Arizona's desert, a wood highly diverse in colors and patterns, making this pendant unique and one of a kind.This particular wood tends to darken with age. By the time you will receive this pendant the wood might have settled into darker brown tones. The colors look more vivid in bright natural light versus artificial light, where the tones are a little darker and more subdued. This pendant measures approximately 1.3" tall by 1.75" wide. The pendant comes with an 18-20" adjustable black Korea waxed cord with lobster clasp, ready to wear. The waxed cord has a shinny snakeskin like texture and is extremely strong. Plus, it is a great non-fraying alternative to leather.Individuals with panther or jaguar totems are usually people that are very intuitive, and many are artistically inclined. The pendant is sealed with three or more layers of wood lacquer in order to protect the wood against moisture and the environment. The lacquer makes the pendant moisture resistant, but not waterproof.
