Mothers California Gold Instant Detailer, 16 oz. (08216)

I was introduced to Mother’s instant detailer several years ago when I purchased the Mother’s Gold clay bar kit. It comes in the kit to provide lubrication for using the clay bar and leaves the finish silky smooth and shiny all in one step. I also use it after hand washes as it removes water spots and leaves the car shining like new. It’s also a great follow-up after removing bug juice, tar, and, sap from my cars finish. (The surface must be clean or you will scratch the finish.)I also understand that keeping a car's finish looking shiny and new all the time is somewhat obsesive especially for a car that isn't garaged however, for me, its a form of relaxtion with the bonus of enjoying the results.Final note: There are newer ceramic and ceramic hybird instant detailers and coatings made by Mother's brand and others all claiming to be superior in terms of lasting shine and protection. Those claims are probably factual however, these are appearance enhancement products that are used almost daily without regard to enhanced protection or longer lasting shine. I would be spending a lot more money to get the same result, a finish that appears shining and new.

I’ve been using Mothers California Gold Instant Detailer for quick cleanups between washes, and it’s honestly one of those products that just makes life easier. It sprays on evenly, wipes off without streaking, and leaves a noticeably slick, glossy finish that makes the paint look freshly detailed. What stands out most is how well it handles light dust, fingerprints, and smudges without needing a full wash perfect for keeping the car looking sharp day to day. It also has a clean, non-overpowering scent and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue. I’ve used it on paint, chrome, and even some interior hard plastics with great results. The shine lasts longer than expected for a quick detailer, especially if the car is already in decent shape.

Worked great , no streaks or blotches

I've been using Meguiar's Quik Detailer for a couple years and decided to try this out as it's a couple buck's cheaper and a few ounces larger, and the reviews made it sound like a better product.... and it is. The Meguiar's is a good detailer, does the job, and my Silver colored car looks great, and works fast!Now this takes a little more work, as there are some swirlies if not buffed out. But after you spray on, wipe off, and put a little work into that MF (microfiber, not what you were thinking!) towel I really noticed a deeper shine, and gloss, the color really popped! This was with a Silver colored car, I imagine for darker color this would be amazing!4 stars for the only reason this take a bit more work, but certainly has it's benefit! But if your in a hurry be prepared to leave your car looking pretty crappy.With the Meguiar's I could go about 6 months with daily garaging between waxes, before water would stop beading, will update how long between waxes this will go.

Clay barring or in a hurry to get a v reasonable finish this is great. IMO, it's a slight wet look and that's good to me. Downsides are it's not long run robust I have found, but it does seem to enhance plenty in between washes or when a proper wax is overdue.

Excelente producto.Cumple y supera.De todos los detaylers y mas caros para mi es mejor.Aplicarlo suave sin frotar y retirar de el mismo modo.Recomiendo lavado en seco antes de la aplicación. Yo uso de Chemical guys Rinse y es espectacular la combinación y el remate final que le da al coche el Mothers detayler.Si tenéis la pintura quemada del sol y desgastada es recomendable pulir.Eate producto es para mantener y evitar la acumulación de suciedad.
