Experienced Magic players may notice that single-sleeving their decks can provide insufficient protection for the tops of their cards, which can get grimy over time during the course of normal shuffling and play. These sleeves are excellent as inner sleeves, sized perfectly for Magic: The Gathering cards, fitting comfortably inside of most conventional outer sleeves. They are of uniform size and good quality plastic, ensuring good protection for your decks. I typically slide the cards in upside-down, and then gently apply pressure to the bottom of the cards to tuck them nice and tight to the edge of the sleeve. These can then be inserted rightside-up into conventional outer sleeves, and should slide in without much issue in most cases. Occasionally, they may require a bit of adjustment should the outer sleeves be too tight, which can be accomplished by bending them slightly in a "U" shape, using your finger to slide the sleeved card in without allowing the inner sleeve to slide off. Two noteworthy items that I didn't see mentioned very much online: 1. Double sleeved decks are significantly thicker than single sleeved ones. You may find yourself having to get larger deck boxes, as the standard size Ultra Pro plastic boxes (which house about 80 sleeved cards) are too small to comfortably fit your decks. 2. Air will need to be squeezed out of your decks after double sleeving. I recommend either squeezing them out en masse by applying pressure to the bottom edges and rolling your way to the top, or using something heavy like a textbook to crush the air out of them. Overall, these are an excellent product, and my recommended inner sleeve.

The only inners I will use. This 10 pack for a total of 100 sleeves is the best deal I have found on them. They fit my MTG cards perfectly and have worked with Dragon Shield outers without issues.

These KMC Perfect Sleeves are my go to inner sleeve for double sleeving, and single sleeving board game cards of this size. I have been using them for about 10 years now. Some of my board games have about 1000 cards, and to sleeve the entire game for $30 is very reasonable. I have NEVER split one and I buy the 10 pack about once per year for my sleeving needs. They fit MTG cards perfectly as an inner sleeve. The cost in buying the 10 pack from Amazon is about 50% less per pack than what I see at local games stores selling packs individually. There is no need to try anything else in this size for double sleeving my Magic cards, or single sleeving my board game cards. They actually mash shuffle quite well as single sleeves, although they can be a little slippery if you are stacking cards beyond 30 in a stack.

I'll repost my review from the 500 set of these same sleeves: These are easily the best sleeves for Magic/Netrunner as well as other games. I have probably bought 1500 in the last couple years for various games including Magic: AotP, Waterdeep, and Netrunner and can count on 1 hand the number of sleeves that were creased or otherwise damaged. That is pretty impressive quality control in my book. As other have said these fit very tightly to MTG-sized cards and are quite thin so they do not increase the deck thickness by a huge amount like thicker sleeves do (I was very unimpressed by the Fantasy Flight sleeves I had to buy for another game due to this reason). Many people use them as an inner sleeve, but the level of protection they offer is more than sufficient on their own IMO. Having gotten back into Netrunner I have sleeved 3x Core Sets and am in the process of sleeving all of the deluxe expansions (~650 total) as well, so I need a ton of sleeves, hence why I decided to buy the case. The rest are being put aside for Dragonfire, which should be coming out by the end of the year.

I bought these because my lgs stopped carrying the KMC inner sleeves, and I’d always preferred them over Dragon Shield. Not to mention, these are a lot cheaper than buying them individually. These arrived on time, and, as advertised, there were 10 100 packs of sleeves. Since their arrival I’ve sleeved 5 commander decks (500 cards), and these have been great. They’re the quality I’m used to in stores. They have a snug fit, slot into a standard sleeve afterwards, and the texture is nice and smooth.

Best perfect fit card sleeves you can get. Easy to use and easy to read. They all fit perfectly on my cards and I haven’t had any that were too tight or too loose so quality control for the product seems to be doing well. Have yet to have any issues with these sleeves not protecting my cards. Personally, if I wasn’t using double sleeves I would just use these sleeves for my cards instead because I like that it doesn’t make the cards feel way bigger and penny sleeves are often too slick. Overall: performance A+ and versatility A+.

Cheaply made, but so are all inner sleeves today. The extra lip at the end and extra space on the sides give me a better peace of mind than other inner sleeves, it can lead to some trickiness when double sleeving though; even with dragon shield mattes which are wider than the average sleeve. For all of the inner sleeves I’ve tried these are my third favorite ones. My favorite are easily the UG Katana inners but at a cost of 14 cents a sleeves on Amazon and no other place to buy them in the US; that’s just too rich for my blood. The Vault X inner sleeves are another great option, however highest number you can order at once is 500 and they come in at 4 cents a sleeve. They do not have an extra lip and are far tighter of a fit than the KMCs. In addition the KMCs are 45 microns thick and the Vault X are 60 thick, not a huge difference overall but if Dragon shield mattes (130 microns thick) are your choice of second sleeves that 15 micron difference adds up quickly with a commander deck or in a master set binder. The conclusion I’ve come to is that KMCs will be my choice of inner unless Katanas become more readily available and cheaper in the US.
