Really works a charm - easy to use 4kg blocks that last a good amount of time - but the difference is within the water alone - the taste is different and use in my coffee machine, kettles and other water using appliances is nicer on them.

Blocks were in pieces and left in the foyer of the block of flats and meant I, being an elderly lady, with mobility problems.

It might be tempting to think 'salt is salt' and wonder about the point of writing a review. However, there are differences in solidity and durability as a result. Of all the salt blocks I've used since acquiring a Twintek water softener, these have lasted the longest. Whether it's down to luck of the draw as to from where they were sourced, or something else, I can't say, but I will recommend them as the best examples I've experienced to date. At present they are the best priced too.

Good value blocks which have been working perfectly in our Monarch, no problems at all

Arguably not a glamorous product to review, it's not exactly something I get excited about BUT the consistent quality is certainly not to be taken for granted. As a result I can happily buy in bulk without any reservation. The bags are also very strong and reseal well so storage isn't an issue.
