Its a book on cat and dog nutrition, but not for the general dog/cat owner a loot more in depth as doing a credited course and need references.

Excellent book as have other books by this author, easy to understand and very much used for coursework!

Basic introduction to the field of small animals nutrition. Usefull for everyone who works with dogs and cats but especially for those who sell pet foods.

This has a lot of information on nutrition, however do be aware that it is written for the American market and most references are for the USA.

I bought this book because I wanted to understand proper nutrition for my dog - there are so many websites out there with unscientific information that I felt the best way was to by a proper nutrition text book. The book is well written and easy to understand, admittedly I have a scientific background...

Kindle formatting struggles with diagrams

This is quite a book. It is a serious textbook that is almost 700 pages in length. I did not catch that part, as I am not a big reader of books. It is a very detailed book that goes into all factors of pet nutrition and how it is properly achieved. I was looking for a book to help me make nutritious foods for my dogs at home, and this book goes way beyond that. If you are looking for some basic facts look elsewhere. If you want to become an expert on pet nutrition, this book is for you.

Well written, lots of information. This book would most likely be more for the professional trainer, or nutritionist (or vet) that wants more scientific and more indepth material on dog nutrition. It might be too much of a deep read on nutrition for the average dog owner.
