Value for $ and then some.
This has paid for itself in a little under a year and then some. I can't tell you the last time I've actually used my big oven, maybe once for a lasagna, but this little oven does it all, it's awesome for left overs, that alone is my favorite part, haven't touched the microwave since. It works overtime in this house airfrying, making cookies, and toasting garlic bread. At first I thought it was pricey, but at the end of the day it gets used more than once a day, everyday since it's been purchased. It's small, but I'm not feeding a family, the size makes it quick to warm up and the food has always come out nice. Have had no issues, turns on everytime, and it's been maybe a month short of a year of using it. Highly recommend.

Great all in one appliance!
I had a Breville smart oven previously (lost it in the divorce) & this one is also excellent! I don’t use all the features but many of them. They all perform as expected, very well! The brushed stainless steel looks great with my stainless appliances & I love that it’s a multi function appliance. It’s not huge, but a great size so many different sized dishes/foods fit. I prefer less on my countertop & love that it takes the place of so many appliances! I think Breville is an excellent brand..

Great Oven with Many Features
My old oven, the same model blew out during a lightening storm. I decided to try one of their fancy new ovens and even though the price was very high I have trusted them for more than a decade. The new, expensive one arrived and after an hour or so wrestling down the hallway to the kitchen, unpacking it, trying to lift it up (it weights at least 80 lbs.) and finally getting it plugged in....... it didn't work - kept getting an error message. Customer service was not really helpful at all. I finally after much consideration decided to chance it and get this model as it was pretty close to my old one (with a few new features like air fry). It is exactly as stated. Fits perfectly where my old one was. All the functions are great (I really like the air fryer) and it started working immediately. I actually got my Ninga off the counter because this did it all. Grilling in Ninga is only thing I miss but broiling will do. All the features cook everything perfectly only one I haven't tried yet is dehydrating but I have some apples I'm going to try. I can roast a whole large chicken or half a turkey in it. It also cooks a Medium (12") pizza. I can make a dozen cookies at a time. It lights up when you open or close it and has a button to keep light on through out cooking which I like for baking small batch of cookies or pizza. It is easy to clean up, I just wipe with a damp cloth when it cools down enough. I keep a silicon sheet in the roasting pan in shelf under air fryer pan when I use that and any drips can easily be wiped off sheet. This is a great value for all the functions it has and I am so glad I got it.

Fine Craftsmanship Throughout
I was planning to buy a small, inexpensive replacement for my 20 year old, 2 rack Oster which finally bit the dust. After spending way too much time researching, it dawned upon me that since I use this every day, why not upgrade to bigger and better and so I did. This countertop oven is awesome. Wish I had done this long ago. Now for some details. The dimensions listed for the product are not accurate. I measured and found 13" D x 18.5" W x 10.5" H to be the actual size. Nonetheless, this product is ideal in so many ways and full of nice features. My old toaster oven had 2 rack positions and this one has 3 which is nice. When you open the door with the rack inside, the rack pops out with the rack guide which is very nice. It has a three plug outlet cord to run the 1800 watts and so far no issues with the kitchen circuit. The preheat time is fast and sweet. This model comes in a very nice blue and has 10 function controls, which is plenty. This Damson Blue Smart Oven is what I consider a mid range size in that it has three rack positions compared to many small toaster ovens which have two and the larger ovens have four. This unit is an upgrade in size from my older toaster oven and that is exactly what I wanted for the long haul. You can use parchment paper for most everything, which is so much better environmentally. Say goodbye to all the foil usage. While the manual does say to not line the crumb tray with foil, you can use foil to wrap your food if needed. A note about "Convection" and "Air Fryer" is also important since many brands now tout this in their marketing materials. In my research, what I learned is that these two terms simply mean, it has a fan. The fan is used to disperse heat evenly throughout the small chamber. This unit does come with a good sized air fryer basket but I have not tried it yet. The controls are very easy and simple to use and are of very good quality. Other than all of the features and size, I chose this model and brand based upon how high the Breville brand rates on most top ten lists. In my view, this is a great value and highly recommended for the cost.

I love my Breville! DO IT! It's worth the price.
I purchased this November 2024 and it’s still going strong. This is my second one; the first one I purchased in 2014, so it lasted me 10 years. I could have kept it, but the digital panel started acting wonky. I’m not kidding that I use my actual oven about twice a year because there’s nothing this Breville can’t do. I have made everything from roasts that came out beautifully to cookies to dehydrated turkey jerky for my dog. It does have an air fry function, but I use my ninja mostly for air frying. I purchased a silicone mat for the bottom which makes cleaning a breeze. It does take a bit of counter space so make sure you measure to accommodate because it does also require a minimum of 4" space on each side. The digital panel is very easy to use, but the digital panel is the reason I’m knocking a star off. I don’t know why people think it makes sense to put a digital panel near heat. That’s what ultimately rendered my last Breville useless. The digital panel ultimately fried out and I’m worried this one will too, but as I said, I got 10 years out the last one. Had the digital panel not gone batty I would still have it. That said, every manufacturer that’s building a solid, durable, impressive oven is using digital panels. I use this no less than 4x times a week, so I put an oven to the test and Breville is so impressive that I will be a customer for a long time. You get what you pay for, and this is no exception in that it’s not the cheapest oven you’ll find, but you get quality cooking of many kinds in spades. You won’t get that from a $50 oven. Like I said, I use my big stove maybe 2x times a year because there’s almost nothing in this Breville can’t do. Reasonably, it cannot fit our holiday turkey. The other reason I use my main oven is to do larger batches of cookies. I am constantly recommending Breville ovens to folks.

Buttons and Dials to set and Beeps when ready!
We’ve only had this for a few weeks, but we’re really liking it. We had a couple of traditional and highly rated 6 quart drawer air fryers before. The first instant model died almost instantly in the first year. The second purchase had all digital buttons built into the body of the appliance. After a year or so, the buttons disappeared because the markings wore off. If you guessed correctly where they had been you could operate the appliance. The screen was so faint you couldn’t read it unless you turned all the lights out in the room. I took it to the Goodwill but I’m feeling guilty for it because it was such a lousy product. Yes, this costs 3 times as much. So don’t throw your money at purchases you’ll dump after a year or so. This Breville is digital but operates from dials and physical buttons. The menu selections are many and easy to select. I like that the screen lights up bright (and that it has a screen) so you can see it no matter what the ambient lighting is. I read here from someone who hated the beeping signal it emits when the preheat is completed or when the cooking cycle is finished. My god that’s the best feature! Our two previous air fryers didn’t make a peep. Imagine getting an audible signal when your food is done! What a concept! Some reviewers report they don’t like that after the shelf pulls out part way when the door is opened that it binds up when you close the door. I found just an additional push against it when closing means you don’t have to reach for a pot holder or utensil. We still use our wall oven. It doesn’t leak much heat and it has 3 different convection settings, bake, broil and roast, as well as the corresponding non convection settings, plus two levels of proofing and that it will hold a turkey or big roast. But now we have a second oven that can run at a different temperature to bake potatoes or to air fry to crunchy your French fries, broccoli, brussels, or cauliflower to a delicious crispy side dish. No, you can’t take it to the sink to wash like a drawer air fryer, but it doesn’t have all the nasty little grooves the tray in my old air fryer had. I used to resort to toothpicks to try to clean that sucker! Because the fan is located to the side wall you can actually use disposable paper or washable silicone liners in the bottom without defeating the air fry function. The crumb tray is handy too for catching little bits or excess oil. Unlike most of my purchases in recent years, it comes with an actual operating manual you can hold in your hands. Finally, we like the stainless steel interior (not plastic made to look like stainless) that cleans up easily with a damp sponge.

Great second oven.
This is our second Breville Smart Oven and we love it. The first one lasted several years before the convection fan stopped working, but we still going strong otherwise when I bought this one. The black truffle color works really well in our kitchen. I especially like that they added air frying to this model. My only concern is that it is a little difficult to keep clean when used as an air fryer. Grease splatters on the door, but I’m not sure what, if anything, they could do to stop that. It’s really good for pizzas and biscuits, really just about anything. We use it more than our range oven because it’s so quick to heat up.

Made me a believer in toaster ovens.
I hesitated buying a toaster oven because my experience from other people was that one or two of the functions worked OK but don’t expect much. This Breville had good reviews and was on sale so I made the leap and was pleasantly surprised. I’ve had it for two months at this writing and have tried most of the functions and they all worked well. I used the baking, broil, warming, pizza, air fryer (it air fries better than my dedicated air fryer), and reheating with good success. I haven’t tried the cookie function but I anticipate it’ll work as well as it bakes. The only area where it’s a little off is the toasting function - the unit I have toasts the bread fine but not quite evenly on both sides. To remedy that I just flip the toast over at the halfway point. Not a big deal because I didn’t buy it for toasting, but the fact it toasts 6 slices at a time is a great selling point. The toasting function is the reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5. I have a Breville toaster that works great, but since I got the oven I rarely use that toaster. The bottom line is, it’s made me a fan of counter top ovens. It doesn’t take up a lot if space and with all it’s functions it’s become a valuable tool in my kitchen. For example, last night I made meatball subs and wanted to use the broil function to melt their cheese. I have a very good gas oven but broiling has never been it’s strong suit so I tried the Breville. It melted the cheese evenly and toasted them well within 3 minutes. That’s what impressed me to the point where I decided to do this review, which I rarely do. If you want something that can handle a lot of different functions more than adequately, and stores all it’s accessories compactly, this stove is for you.

makes full sized oven mostly useless
Since buying the Breville, we hardly ever use our full sized oven, and have also retired our toaster. Heats way faster than a full sized oven, and cooks as well, or better

LOVE
Not my first Breville Smart Oven. Love it. I especially love the blue. Makes me smile every day. But sadly, the crumb tray is so difficult to keep clean. Crumbs are easy, but any oil or butter or drips and it stains so easily. I’m always scrubbing. There must be an easier coating they could put on.

Convenient fast and reliable
Best item in my kitchen. Should have done this years ago.

Best versatile with airfry
Bought this toaster oven with airfry partly because we had the previous model. Main reason is their toasting ability with a Bagel mode. Bagel mode is important for bagels, english muffins, pizza reheat, etc. Not only did they add Airfry but an enhanced convection mode. The added lighting is a great feature (light shines on the food, for example comes on 30sec before toast is done so you can see the brownness - very thoughtful by some designer) Overall a great unit - if you have previous model you’ll be amazed how quiet this one is in regular convection mode, almost can’t hear it; of course enhanced or airfry mode has the fan noise. For us best possible combination unit and was surprised at the increased quality and convenience features.

The oven has remarkable precision for the degrees reached, which several other brands cannot offer or match... It also replaces my conventional oven in several tasks which is much more practical, the circulation of hot air cooks at the same time. perfects foods like chicken or beef without any problem and leaves the meat tender and delicious. It can be used as a slow cooker or dehydrator, additional functions which are a plus. I also use it for frozen pizza, you know like me how hard it is to cook the pizza evenly when it is frozen and of course the bottom rack on the plate which is included and the pizza setting it cooks evenly perfect way if not better than a large oven The LCD dial is very simple and the buttons are user-friendly and well thought out another big plus. Many people talk about the sound it emits like in the video, I don't think it's that bad
