Allegedly my daughter chose it. I believe my wife bought it as a mind trick to punish me because somehow I spent 5+ hours working on this over the weekend because it was too difficult for my wife (a medically trained surgeon) much less my 7-year old. This was one of the most complicated contraptions I’ve ever assembled and I consider myself objectively pretty handy around the house. From wrapping 9 foot strings around a 1 foot metal frame, to weaving that net mesh together from a single gold strand (btw, break out your sewing key because the only way you’ll get the needle through those needs is by stringing the strings and ribbons through thread and through a needle), at some point the only thing driving me to finish was spite and pride.
