Solidly built and dependable wrenches
Bought these 90s so the 120XPs that came with sets can be backups. These have been solid and dependable wrenches for both small and regular engine maintenance. I prefer these bare metal handles over cushion grip for better tactile feedback when using them. These are the perfect size for completing the vast majority of maintenance - enough leverage for most stubborn bolts and still compact enough for tighter situations.

Good ratchet for orice
I like this ratchet..feels good in my hand works as it should. I feel its better than a SK 3/8 ratchet i have.. good quality functions well. I always put some light oil on ratchets and let it soak in for 30 minutes with the higher teeth count ratchets.

Strong and perfect for tight spaces
This ratchet removed a frozen exhaust bolt in a tight space, where nothing else has worked so far. Getting the best angle for breaking the bolt free was the key challenge, and the fine 90 teeth were sufficient, whereas all my other ratchets needed more space. For example, my trusty Craftsman ratchet required too much of an arc to click, so it could not free up the bolt. The GEARWRENCH ratchet also backed out the bolt faster, since it has more teeth, and the teeth catch well. I believe you get all 90 teeth! The quick release button is the best one I've ever used, and the sockets were held in a death grip, so I don't expect to drop sockets in the future. I was not expecting that plus. In terms of durability, I used 2 cheater bars to get the bolt off and the ratchet survived. The polish is smooth, so it will be easy to keep clean. The price was very good for the quality. I almost held out for the 120 tooth version, but there is a good chance that this 90 tooth version is all I'll ever need. I would 100% recommend it.

Best ratchet Iโve used
Love this ratchet! I use it everyday at work for everything. I put it in a little Milwaukee pack out with all the tools i use every day . Highly recommend this ratchet if you are in the market for a 1/4โ. Canโt go wrong with the great built gear wrench. This thing is built tough and will last forever .

A solid well made tool
It appears to be high quality tool for the price. I have not used it yet for any heavy duty jobs, but it does perform well on some light assembly bolting.

Worth every penny
This feels like an expensive tool. Great ratchet

Quality ratchets, but length not suitable for most jobs
The ratchets do what theyโre meant to, they hold sockets well, however they really arenโt long enough to get enough torque in order to do much. Theyโre great for getting hand tight things snug or loose, but even the 3/8 drive isnโt long enough for most things - youโre better off just skipping these ratchets and buying a breaker bar and torque wrench.

Will buy more GEARWRENCH tools !
I bought this Gearwrench ratchet handle due to my Craftsman tools aging poorly. I personally tried several different brands and picked Gearwrench ! Quality at a fair price !

Head is bigger than most 90 teeth ratchets
It came on sale for $15CAD so I bought one. It was claimed the regular price was $100+ but these are regularly $50-60CAD. It's a stout design, with normal length, but the head is easily 1/4" bigger than a GW 120XP head and massive compared with a Wera Zyklop C head. I just bought it to add to my collection. It's probably better suited to an industrial maintenance setting where space is not a consideration rather than automotive. It strikes me as an early 90 tooth design before the head sizes started to decrease.

Seems quality.
My little Bahco wore out in a surprisingly short time. I've got 1/2 set for bigger jobs, and am careful. This one seems a nice action and will hopefully do better, according to reviews.

quality at a budget price
I'd never bought any Gearwrench tools before this but reviews have always been good for a number of years, so I thought I'd give it a try. I wanted to build up a tool kit for another location but didn't want to spend a fortune, my primary tool collection is mainly Snap-On and other high end brands and that has cost a huge amount over the years. First impressions on the Gearwrench ratchet are very good. It's fit and finish is excellent, honestly, equally as good as Snap-On!! Very little play in the anvil, positive selector action, very fine pitch ratchet action. So, I'm fully satisfied there. Obviously, until I give it some serious use over a suitably long time to reveal any problems, I can't comment on reliability or durability. But my gut feeling is it will be fine. On this basis I'll be buying more Gearwrench stuff and would be happy to recommend the brand.
