It’s a good pump and fits well onto the 1883 syrup bottles however, you do have to press down quite firmly when you’re installing it on the bottle. You need to press down until it clicks in place. This installation might be a bit difficult for people with mobility issues, but once it’s in it feels sturdy. I can’t speak about leakage as I have the bottle standing upright, and wouldn’t use a pump if I was planning on storing the bottle lying down. The cleaning instructions are easy to understand, the pump is simple to use once installed, it looks nice on the kitchen counter, and I imagine it’ll be simple to change to a new bottle once the one I have is finished.
