AMAZING laptop! you are getting what you are paying for here!!
I've had this laptop now for almost 2 years now and its AMAZING! The 4080 plays MOST games at max settings at 100+fps. I get about 1 hour of gametime playing max settings games on the battery at full framerates ( alot of laptops limit you to 30fps on the battery). It does get hot! Playing Street Fighter 6 on the "balanced" mode, the metal grill above the keyboards will BURN THE SH*** out of you if you touch it, not even joking its that hot. However playing on overdrive mode which "sorta overclocks" everything and runs fans to the max its not bad at all THE SCREEN!!! OMG ITS NICE!!! On my desktop setup I use an Samsung Oled and im not even kidding IT LOOKS JUST AS GOOD! and its not oled. The speakers-mehh but still better than most laptops. The keyboard-mehh also, pretty standard, im pretty sure there is a mechanical key version of this laptop if you want that

Be sure to inspect the laptop, including components. Terrible service from all companies involved.
The laptops in this Alienware x16 series are all monsters (or aliens, whatever lol), but be sure to do some digging to see if you got what you paid for. [MY SETUP] I hooked it up to a 34-inch ultrawide monitor (3440x1440), the RTX 4080, Ultra 9 185H CPU, and 32GB RAM play almost every game at max settings with smooth FPS. Stuff like 3D modeling and photo-editing is a breeze too. I like the keyboard, this one has the normal one, not the mechanical one. But I like it better because it's quiet and it's comfortable to type on. Also note it has Windows 11, if you don't want to make an online account just to use your computer, you have to use Terminal to reactivate the Local Account button during the setup stage. Then it's just a matter of removing bloatware with the usual utilities out there. [BE SURE TO INSPECT THE LAPTOP YOU GET, INCLUDING THE HARDWARE!] Amazon says professionals inspect every laptop they have for resale, but...I don't know. Here are the problems I found: -The screen is listed as the 240Hz version, but the one received is 165Hz. It also clearly has a patch of dead pixels in the corner. -There were screws loose from the bottom and the shell wasn't assembled correctly after "inspection". -The exhaust fins had dings in them because the big power adapter was just rattling around in the box. Ugh. That's going to affect cooling. -The hard drive and CPU are fine, so is the RAM because it's soldered to the motherboard. The battery health seems good, though this is something you'll keep plugged in all the time most likely. -The listing says you get a free year of Alienware Premium Support with this laptop, but you don't. I checked the service tag with Dell and it only has Basic Support. (Don't share your service tag with anyone but offical Dell support.) Amazon customer service said it came with 3 years of Asurion insurance, also not true. I was not compensated for either of these false/missing things. [UPDATE] Having used it for a while now, seems like Alienware laptops have driver issues and software you can't get rid of. -Often the laptop won't recognize that anything is plugged into the headphone jack, it has to be restarted to force it to work. -Killer Suite supposedly helps "manage your internet" but all it does is screw things up and refuses to be uninstalled unless you buy your own wifi card. -Windows Updates are also borked, the laptop keeps asking to restart to install "Intel Network Platform Performance" or whatever nonsense because it doesn't understand it's already updated. What a pain in the bum. -I contacted Dell Alienware Support and they haven't responded in over a week. I'm never buying a Dell again. So anyway, if you paid almost $2000 for this used laptop, go ahead and be angry, that's a poor value. In the condition I got it, it has like $600 worth of mistakes, that's not something you should overlook.

Good So Far!
I heard mixed reviews on this. I took a chance and it's only been 2 weeks, but so far so good. The Alienware software takes about 10 to 20 seconds to load when first opening it. after that 5-10. The back end got flack for being too big. But Who is really carrying around a 16 inch gaming laptop. Keys feel great. RGB is good. Keys are clear and not blinding like most RGB backlits. Design is good imo. feels premium. Cam is decent. Touch pad is smooth. Display is nice, all text is clear and colors are good. I heard many people complaining about the brightness levels. But in a dark room I actually turn the brightness down. And in my home with normal outdoor light coming in, I have no issues with the brightness. 2 usb 2 usb c, this is the only downside. in my opinion. I wish there was one more. I do like there are no cables coming from the sides. All ports in back. Cleaner desk look. will update if I have any issues.

Test your hardware upon arrival
I received this computer and out if the box the microphone doesn't work. There's a heat issue and the power settings are weird. Good processing power and large screen. It's heavy to travel with.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Best performance. Good quality. Good design. Better optimization than other brands. Hundred percent recommended.

Do not buy this laptop!!!
This laptop is a GIANT waste of money. It didn't last for 2 weeks before the system stopped charging itself and shut down. I had to return it without being able to remove my data. I am VERY disappointed with this product and purchase.

Overall Great Laptop for the Price Tier
This laptop has met my expectations like each of the Alienware I've had before it. I do recommend getting one on sale so the perceived value is more in line with cheaper alternatives. Specifically for this model I like how slim it is, improved cooling, keypad feel, quieter fans, etc.

Excelente producto
Llego antes de lo previsto y la uso para correr el F1 24 en Vr con el Oculus Quest 3 y con un rendimiento medio corre sin ningún problema, juegos con menos latencia y menor demanda como el League of legends corren al 100% con gráficos en máximo
