If you suffer with chronic chapped lips and/or a “chapstick addiction” (yes, that is a real thing), this may be worth a try. My son (12 yo) has struggled with chapped lips for years.. they would get so bad that he would have a red ring above his lips. I struggled with the same thing as a child and still suffer with constant dry lips/lip peeling.. I wish I knew why. We’ve tried the classic petroleum-based chapsticks (vaseline, aquafor, carmex, classic chapstick, etc).. He applied these CONSTANTLY, and while they would offer him temporary relief, they never actually healed the problem. I read something about chapstick addiction, in which it becomes almost obsessive-compulsive to apply chapstick. As crazy as that may sound, I think this is part of my son’s issue. For whatever reason, he was super dependent on his petroleum-based chapsticks. I came across this brand on Tiktok, and upon looking through the reviews, I was willing to give this a try. I purchased a tube for each of us to try. Upon applying for the first time, he really liked the larger tube size and how it felt on his lips. He noted that the consistency was perfect, super smooth and felt hydrating and comfortable. He also mentioned that it lasts him awhile, unlike some other chapsticks he’s tried that needed to be reapplied more frequently. Within a day or two of use, his lips were significantly healing! The red ring above his lip was fading, and he was excited that it was actually getting better. I also noticed my lips were soft and smooth.. much better than when I use my regular chapsticks. We purchased again when he ran out, and he says he will never use the standard chapsticks again.. he loves TOHME chapstick, and it did wonders for his lips! With all of the positive things I can say about this chapstick, the only downside in my opinion is the price point. Because my son uses chapstick more frequently than most, he can go through these pretty quickly, which unfortunately is more than I’d like to be spending on chapstick. For this reason, I looked for alternatives with similar ingredients hoping to find other brands that work for a cheaper price. We’ve recently been using the Carmex Comfort Care Colloidal Oatmeal stick lip balm, which seems to work about as good as this one for a lot cheaper. Although I personally will continue with more cost-effective options, I still 100% think this is a great product and worth a try!

I kept thinking that I was having cold sores breaking out, when I finally realized they were too small and healed overnight and popped up on other spots of my lips the next day or two. I realized I had a skin condition causing me rashes and abrasions on my lips. Eos wasn't helping. Vasciline was worse. Blistex was ok, but tasted bad. Then I found "The Ocean Healed My Eczema" chapstick. I keep it by my side and it's been a trusty friend for sure. My lips take a lot longer without it to breakout in redness and dryness. I thought the price was definitely a gamble from all the stuff I've already spent money on that failed, but it was worth every penny. I hope I can always have access to The Ocean Healed My Eczema.

It works great! Softly gliding on lips. It does not require frequent reapplication. So different than the sensation of tugging or pulling on your mouth and leaving waxy, oily globs like others do. I love it.

Full STOP on the bad review I saw. Either you’re tripping or you got the one bad product. Because I have severe chapped lips exfoliating cheleitis since I was a kid and I’ve tried lots of natural lip balms to help. This is hands down the BEST. You know how some lip balms feel more oily and just sit on top of your lips without sinking in. Yeah this one doesn’t do that it absorbs so much more than others I’ve tried. And it actually heals my lips so I can use it less and less because in the mean time even when it wears off my lips still feel soft and not inflamed. The consistency and absorbency is perfect. Lots of natural lip balms have good ingredients but it isn’t made well and will be too oily or something so it doesn’t help that much. This one is so good!! I’m not using any others

I love the OHME cream for my skin, so I figured I’d try to lip balm! It doesn’t do much for *already* lightly chapped lips; however, it does suffice as my emergency lippie to keep in my purse. I do like the amount of product you get, but I probably won’t be repurchasing.
