When Too Much Bob James Is Never Enough
There's a period in the Seventies when the big jazz names started recording the kind of music many fans sneered at.But those with open ears found time for the easier sounds, expertly played by artists like Donald Byrd, George Benson, Grover Washington Jnr and Earl Klugh. Never considered 'hip', but played in lots of scenarios everywhere around the world during a certain period in musical history.This is where you find Bob James. Smooth, melodic, cool. You'll know a lot of the tunes here; you might be surprised when you think hard about where you may have first heard them.And let us not forget that 'Taxi' is one of the best half dozen TV themes every recorded.

A lot to listen to...and Enjoy
This two CD set gets lots of play while I'm on the road. Some of the titles are old friends, some are less familiar to me. All in all there is lots of good music to enjoy.
