Does burt's bees 100% natural moisturizing lip shimmer, champagne contain any amount of aluminum?

Thanks for the question! Please note that we do use alumina (aluminum oxide) as a source of shimmer in some of our lip color products. It is commonly -used in cosmetics and is considered safe for cosmetic use. We have another ingredient that has the word aluminum in it, but it’s actually just the scientific name for clay (magnesium aluminum silicate), which is used in some of our lotions and creams. It does not have spf, but it also does not have paba or parabens. Not having toxic elements in my lipstick or shimmer is more important than spf. They are creamy and go on easily.

Why does it feel tingly or slight burning sensation?

Because it contains peppermint oil among other all natural ingredients that give that tingling sensation.

Perfect lip balm

Arrived promptly, well packaged. I buy these often and love their moist, subtle colour. This one actually has little colour, but I'm happy with it - it also looks perfect on my ten-year old granddaughter. Highly recommend.

Ridiculously mean little stick

I like Burt's Bees lipsalve and this one is a lovely pink shade, very flattering to my skin shade. BUT the stick contains just 0.09 oz of the product against 0.15 oz of the standard lipsalve stick, not much more than half as much. This makes it extremely expensive. This tiny thin stick is not going to last very long.
