There is an insert in the case that is formed specifically for this pen and cord. The other side of the case is a mesh pocket perfect for storing filaments for the pen, and, even better, a battery pack to run the pen.Full disclosure; I don't have the 3Doodler Flow pen. I have another brand. However, I'm still going to use this case since i can customize the insert to fit the pen I have, and still take advantage of the additional storage.My primary purpose for a 3D pen is to assemble larger parts that I've printed. Using a pen, I can make joints that are nearly invisible, improving the final quality of my models. Currently, I keep my pen in a small tool box, along with a battery pack, spare filament, and a couple of tools for clearing jams. The tool box is fine if I'm working on my project bench at home, but it's too big to easily mesh with the rest of my 3D printing tools when I travel.This case is small enough that it fits into my main printing case, so it works out fantastically when I'm doing remote printing at conventions or shows. And it fits into my oririginal tool box, so I don't have to move things back and forth when I'm printing at home. I just pull the case from my home box, put it into my travel box, and I'm good to go.The other biug plus is this case is large enough to handle my large battery pack, making it a completely self contained solution for printing with the pen. The battery, along with a good amount of filament, fits easily into the zippered mesh pocket, along with my tools. The zipper keeps everything in it's place.PROS: Small enough to fit easily into a small tool box; Big enough to hold a pen, spare filament, a battery, USB cable and wall wart for recharging; Lightweight, but fairly rugged for the price. It won't take being run over by a car, but then again, not many cases will.CONS: If you don't have this exact 3D pen, you'll have to either customize or toss the insert.I like this case and it fits the bill for what I need, a small, lightweight way to carry my 3D pen and all its supplies.

So we had been using the box that the pen came with but it was seeing some rough days. This case was great for it and holds the little extras that we have picked up for it! It looks much more professional as well!

Disappointed in how hard this is to use for a kid. Doesn’t really work like the video shows.

Great storage case but the top doesn't hold very many colors.

Doodler and charger fit perfectly. No issues at all.

I thought this was an exact fit for my pen as it's sold as an addon item. It's not wide enough for the filament prn I purchased, had to remove to recessed area to fit pen correctly. AC adapter does not fit recessed area either. Would have been better as two zippered pouches on opposite sides. It's still good to store tool, charger and filament. Overall OK but not made for the model it's bundled with.
