The perfect automatic watch
I was looking for a nice looking good quality automatic watch with weekday display for a reasonable price. I found this one: Heimdallr Ocean Monster Diver’s with day date, sapphire crystal, 200 m waterproof and a reliable Japanese (Seiko) automatic movement. The Jubilee bracelet looks great and fits perfectly because of the possibility of micro adjustments. No sharp edges or hair pulling with my watch! I like the dark blue dial with the silver Megalodon shark logo, it fits a diver’s watch. In the sun you will see a nice blue light beam shimmering over the dial. I have to admit it’s a little difficult to set the watch because of the crown protection but nothing really bothering or a reason to take one star off. Set it once and forget it because it’s a self-winding mechanical automatic watch as long as you wear it regularly. No need to change batteries ever because it has none! I tested the watch in the ocean and in the pool: totally waterproof. This is your every day watch for all occasions, ever.

Very nice but a little hard to use the crown
This watch is a very nice watch except for the fact that the crown is very hard to use but keeps time perfectly.

Major Value for the Money
This is an initial review - have had this watch for three days at this point. Everything is extremely positive; I am very, very happy will all aspects of the watch: Overall, it has a great look, well balanced and appealing. The blue dial is a dark blue but looks great with the black bezel. I went with the 5-pc jubilee-style band and it fits well and was easy to adjust with the tools provided. The sapphire crystal is clear and by comparison much nicer than a mineral crystal. The bezel is ceramic black and is very nice looking and is sharp in its lettering. The bezel has a medium click and does have a fair amount of back play but not much different than other watch’s at this price. Nothing I can’t live with. The crown is a little challenging to properly grasp and turn if I am honest as the side guards are really big relative to the crown itself. Overall, the watch is heavy but solid. As of today, I am seeing about a +10-11secs/day which is well within specs and very good to me. I think it’s the best I’ve seen at this price personally I matched this up against an Orient Ray 2 and though the Orient had a nicer overall feel and quality, though the ridiculous bezel on the Orient (really hard to grip with dry hands and impossible with wet hands - and the inconsistent stiffness of the action) was a deal-breaker for me. The Heimdallr at $100 less is a clear winner and even excluding price, I still prefer the Heimdallr for the reasons above. If anything major changes, I will update the review.
