MUSASHI High Protein Bar, 45g Protein, Milk Chocolate Brownie

For a protein bar, it tastes pretty good. The bar itself is pretty big and hefty. While it is a little chewy, its not as chewy as some other reviews make it out to be. Its not anything like chewing rubber like one reviewer said. The only improvement suggestion I have is it's definitely on the sweet side, and I think they could probably reduce the sweetness a little bit. For 45 grams of protein in one bar, this is a great product and easy way to get some protein on the go.

It's delicious and highest protein I've seen. A bit dry but it's not supposed to be a candy bar. It's bigger than most bars but I need the calories. Great price too.

The price is over the top! Currently at $42 for 12 bars, that's $3.50 each. Theme park prices! The bars are about the size of a movie theater candy bar, and a bit thicker than that. And really dense. A bit difficult to chew, too. I would be afraid to eat one with any kind of dental issues....bridges or braces anything where you have to be careful with sticky chewy things. They are filling, too. I got the milk chocolate brownie flavor and while it's not a candy bar, it is tolerable. Doesn't have that godawful "protein bar" taste. The milk chocolate coating is more melty than a regular candy bar. I wouldn't keep one in my bag. The bar is already hard to chew; I can't imagine putting them in the fridge would do you any favors that way. I'm not sure if I will keep buying these. $3.50 each! Sheesh!

I appreciate the massive amount of protein and the generous size of these bars. However, I was so put-off by the dense, gummy texture, mealy flavor, and the cloying sweetness that I couldn't even finish one bar. I really regret buying a whole box. I think I will blend the rest of them in smoothies.

I was skeptical about purchasing these because of the mixed reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor is good, just don’t expect it to taste like a candy bar. These are definitely more of a meal replacement bar. They’re filling, and I’m not looking for a snack an hour later, which I appreciate. They also provide a solid source of protein without making me feel like I’m indulging in something overly processed or sugary. I would recommend these to anyone who is familiar with protein bars and is looking for something that will actually keep them full and support their fitness routine.

High protein, but, be prepared for lots of chewing! Its tough! Also, while it contains no wheat (or gluten) it does have traces. I cut it into sections, and only eat one at various times. Makes it easier to chew and I have no reactions. Its an okay source of protein, but for the cost, there are other products available that are gluten-free and easier to consume.
