Skimmer Scooper Basket Leaf Rake

The skimmer pro is a bit larger than an aquarium fish net. It works great to get the small seed pods from the trees out of the skimmer basket. The actual net is not real robust, and may not last over the long term, but it meets my requirements.

This product is so tiny that it belongs in a doll house. It can’t scoop leaves, as they do not fit in the net. It’s more like a goldfish net made for a child. The mesh netting is so weak and the skimmer is so poorly manufactured that the net started tearing and separating from the pole after just a few uses, and I was skimming water from a small kiddie pool. This just be a joke.

I think the size and length work perfect for my skimmer baskets. Picks up leaves and other junk fine. So far it seems durable, no rips or tears. Keeps me from having to shove hand into the unknown abyss of a skimmer basket.

I purchased this a few months ago to help get some of the small stuff that gets in the skimmer basket area. I don't like to get down on my hands and knees to scoop out the trap, so I thought this would help. The pole shaft should be longer, and the basket hook at the end popped off after a few uses. The netting is also pretty thin and is showing signs of wear.I won't buy a replacement when this one wears out.

I really like it, it is well made and it looks like those products you buy in those shopping channel because of its color. I use it to clean the pool skimmers and when I am in the water to clean any little dirt on the water.

I needed a new net for cleaning out my skimmer basket and thought this was perfect. I really like the hook to remove the basket. My biggest problem is the net is so delicate it didn't last a year before completely disintegrating off the frame. If the netting would have lasted a bit longer I would have given this a much higher rating.

This was just what I was looking for, so I wouldn’t have to get on my knees to clean my skimmer. It has the hook to easily reach the basket and the net to scoop out any remaining debris.

I bought this scooper to replace an old scooper that got a hole in the basket. The old scooper was made of plastic and worked well with most debris, but small debris slid through the basket. This new skimmer scooper has a fine net that quickly picks up all debris that floats in the skimmers. My only complaint is that it has a short handle. Ideally, it would be about 30-36" long so that you don't have to stoop so low. Otherwise, I recommend this product.
