I have damaged my hearing through the years and finally tried headphones when listening to music or podcasts but was never totally happy. I liked the initial experience with these P40i earbuds but was not totally happy with the silicone ear adapters, none were large enough for one of my ears. I did get some nice memory foam tips that work well. I've been using these for about 5 months. With the earbuds snugly fitting, setup using the Soundcore hearing test & equalizer works extremely well. Adjusting levels for the frequencies I have trouble with, made everything sound much clearer and louder. Noise cancellation works well and it can be adjusted to allow hearing nearby sounds. The earbuds can connect to two sources, which allows me to listen to programs but allow the phone to come through if I receive a call. Phone calls quality is excellent with these earbuds and the caller can't tell I'm not directly on the phone. If I fall asleep while using the earbuds and the program ends, I wake up later to total silence, usually forgetting the earbuds are still in place. Once I did forget to charge the case and the earbuds quit working before I was finished but otherwise I listened for hours without interruption. These are a worthwhile purchase.

The soundcore p40i earbuds have delightfully surprised me. They are very aesthetically pleasing. The oat white color is beautiful. The build quality and finish are great quality, the matte finish of the case feels good in the hands and the rubberized somewhat weighted bottom makes it feel high quality as well as functional, so it doesn't slide on whatever surface it's on. The added bonus of a phone stand is also something I will use and it works well. The earbuds themselves have a champagne gold trim and looks elegant, they are a well fitting size for my small ears, I've worn them for a few hours without discomfort. When it comes to the sound, they sound amazing. The equalizer in the app works well to tune the earbuds to your sound preferences, and comes with plenty of features which is a great value at this price point. The highs sound crisp, the mids as they should and the lows and bass are deep enough to enjoy. These are an upgrade to my more expensive Samsung buds that I've had for a couple of years. These buds are amazing and at such a great price, buy them. I absolutely recommend them. As for Amazon renewed, they came pretty much new, with all of the packaging. No dents or scratches on the earbuds or case. I am very satisfied with them. I will update my review after having them for a few weeks.

I LOVE these earbuds! I have been using Anker/Soundcore products for a few years now. I have gotten the P3 earbuds, Q30 headphones, and one other set of earbuds from Soundcore that I'm blanking on. This tops them all. Size-wise, they are a bit smaller than the P3, but I am still able to use the case I originally got for the P3 for these. Other than price (which is incredible, especially with the quality and all the features), my #1 priority was the noise-canceling. I'm autistic and have ADHD, and I sensitive to noise. The noise-canceling is outstanding. I had the fan in my room on the second-highest setting, put in the earbuds, and I didn't notice the fan at all. I took the earbuds out, and the fan seemed loud. (This is a fairly quiet fan, too.) The built-in phone stand is cool and works even with my Samsung Galaxy S21+ with the case on my phone. It tips back if it's moved like in a car, but still, it's impressive. The sound quality is incredible as well. I don't really use it, but there is also a movie mode and gaming mode which seem to be really good, if that is something you are looking for. Price is also amazing, especially for everything you get with these. I have done a LOT of research on which earbuds are best among Soundcore as well as other brands, and these earbuds are the best. 10/10 highly recommend. Don't waste time, and get them now! I ordered these earbuds, but my experience with the first two sets was frustrating. The first set arrived in a sealed but empty box. The second set came in an unsealed box with dirty earbuds—there were grease marks and what looked like earwax on the earpieces. I had to clean everything with rubbing alcohol before testing them. When I finally tried them, one earbud was noticeably louder than the other, and I could hear static. I initially thought I was losing hearing in one ear, but after swapping earbuds, the issue persisted on the opposite side. I adjusted all settings through the app, did a firmware update, and reset everything, but nothing worked. I was about to return them but gave it another shot the next day. After playing around with different tracks, they eventually just started working correctly. I noticed there bluetooth info from the previous owner. I deleted this info, but I doubt this would've caused this problem. I've been using them for three days now, and the battery life is slightly better than my P30 earbuds. These last about 8 hours, whereas the P30s initially lasted that long but dropped to about 6.5-7 hours after a month. I expect these to follow the same trend. Before I start on the sound quality, you must know that these sound like crap out of the box. You have to adjust the equalizer settings to to your liking. Even if you choose the preset equalizer, it should be good enough. The sound quality is similar to the P30, and for cheap earbuds, it’s impressive. I would give these a 8 out of 10 for sound quality. I also own Sony and Bose earbuds, and while I still prefer my Sony WF-1000XM4, these are surprisingly close in sound quality. Plus, I don’t mind if these get damaged. Noise cancellation isn't great in the wind, but at a fraction of the price of premium brands, it’s hard to complain. Noise cancellation is good enough to keep things quiet when my wife is snoring in bed. I give these 3 out 5 stars mainly because the of problem I encountered with getting refurbished earbuds. I give these 4.5 or 5 if you get them new.

The P40s deliver great sound, with a notably strong bass across all genres. Listening to them evokes a sense of nostalgia for 90s hi-fi systems from brands like Panasonic and Technics. The connection to my phone is almost instantaneous as soon as I open the case. I found the fit surprisingly good and comfortable for extended music listening. I used the eartips that came with the earbuds, which fit my ear canals perfectly without needing to try other sizes. To be honest, I’ve found a better fit with stem-styled earbuds compared to dot-type ones. The bass might be excessive for some, but the app includes a bass-reduced EQ setting that helps tone it down, though not significantly. The noise cancellation is decent, and the earbuds hold their charge exceptionally well. Personally, I wouldn’t spend hundreds on earbuds; I can confidently recommend these for their sound quality, noise cancellation, and battery life, which are my top priorities. Of course, you miss out on fancier features like 360 audio found in earbuds such as the Samsungs and the automatic music pause when you take the earbuds out. However, I can definitely live without those features.

These are quite reliable as they lasted me about a year and I'm still using the same pair. The sound quality is decent for what you pay for. I've also dropped 'em plenty of times, and even gotten them wet, yet it plays just fine. Only needs to charge for maybe an hour or two and will last for like two days. The mic quality is okay and the bass is lacking, but it's great for the price. Would recommend 👍

Good sounds

I really enjoyed using these right away. Battery life is great, sound quality is outstanding, considering the price. ANC features including pass-thru are very nice. With the associated app, they are very easy to use, with customizable touch controls. The fit and finish were on par with the $150 JBL earbuds I was trying to replace with these. I completely forgot that these were a "renewed" aka refurbished pair... until I started writing this review because one of them went quiet a week after the 90 warranty expired. I had used them earlier in the day with no problem, then pulled them out later and the right earbud was much quieter than the other. When I tried to switch ANC modes, the sound cue would start playing, then it made a weird low electronic rumble noise, as if it was an error sound and/or the speaker was blown. I wasn't initially aware what the warranty period was, but I contacted Soundcore support right away, and to their credit, they responded promptly and friendly. I had already gone through the suggested troubleshooting steps by that point, as listed in the app's FAQ as the single troubleshooting item for the device, which seemed immediately telling: "What to do if the Volume of One soundcore P40i Earbud is Quieter Than the Other?" The email from support suggested the same steps again at first, then after being told again that I tried those, acknowledged that it would probably require a warranty replacement. Seriously, I think I got 4 separate email responses from their support in one afternoon, which is great customer service. However, after confirming my order number, I was told that the aforementioned 90 day warranty period had expired and there was nothing they could do. I don't expect earbuds like this to last forever, but it fails a week after the already short 3 month warranty? I'm not the kind of person to swear off a brand or product after one bad experience, but I don't know. I'll certainly think twice about buying a refurb of this kind of product.

Anker enttäuscht mal wieder nicht. Die P40i sitzen sehr bequem im Ohr und die Geräuschunterdrückung (ANC) funktioniert für diese Preisklasse erstaunlich gut. Der Bass ist kräftig, aber nicht übersteuernd. Auch die Akkulaufzeit hält, was sie verspricht. Perfekt für den täglichen Weg zur Arbeit oder fürs Gym!

After trying out the pair of Soundcore P30i Earbuds I bought for my wife, I didn't hesitate to get a pair for myself. The Soundcore P40i have given me a new appreciation for 'The Tragically Hip' music...for that matter any music or podcast that I listen to. These Earbuds are absolutely Fantastic. Clear crisp high and mid sound with nice deep bass makes my music listening very enjoyable. The compact recharging case makes it so convenient to carry along to (wirelessly) recharge on the go. These Earbuds are my 4thAnker Product purchased all of which are very high quality and great customer support. You can not go wrong with Soundcore by Anker.

Brilliant for the price, sound good and battery lasts for ages. Very cheap, but punch higher than they cost. Great buy
