EGO Power+ Carbon Fiber Extension Pole for Cordless Electric Multi Head System Power Head - EP7501

Love my Ego products and glad I switched from gas powered lawn equipment. Needed this extension for better reach for the pole saw and works great. Happy with this purchase.

This was so helpful in getting my reach to higher branches that I could not get due to the lack of this extension pole. It clicks right in, great price and the weight is super light. Very easy to set up.

the EP7501, although nowhere to be found on AMAZON or at the EGO website, is fully compatible with the HTA2020 hedge trimmer attachment and thus provides a really long hedge trimmer. I was hoping and my hopes came true that this compatibility would allow me to trim an overhead Kiwi vine without having to be up on a ladder or precariously leaning over the edge on my roof to trim this vine with ordinary hedge trimmers and a one vine at a time pole saw! BTW - the HTA2020 Hedge Trimmer works great - excellently engineered in all details !

The extension made the very hard to reach areas much easier to trim. No longer having to use a step ladder. (Obviously a bit heavier, but the safety factor ‘outweighs’ the extra muscle needed. 😊

We've had an Ego mower for years now and have been happy with it. We wanted to stay with the same battery system so recently purchased the PH1420 power head with string trimmer. We also got the hedge trimmer and pole saw. We ordered the extension pole since it was on sale before testing out the saw. The listing specifically said this extension pole is compatible with our power head. The string & hedge trimmers attach to the power head and click in fine with a bit of effort. This extension pole and the pole saw are both very difficult to attach to the power head although the pole saw attaches to the extension pole ok. It seems like they don't even really go with the power head and it took several minutes of fiddling to get the extension pole pushed down to the attachment mark. Neither obviously click into the powerhead like the other attachments. Removing the extension pole is also difficult. It is so difficult I'm afraid it will damage the power head. Once finally attached it does work but the saw blade came off the pole saw after only about 6 cuts. The blade adjustment seems to be topped out so it can't be tightened further. I am happy with the string and hedge trimmer. I am disappointed so far in the extension pole and pole saw. I'm mentioning the pole saw issues here since the extension pole goes with it. I expected better from Ego and these just don't seem to be the quality or same fit as the other attachments.

The PS1000 extension sounds good in theory, but in reality it’s frustrating and poorly executed. Compatibility with the PSA1000 pole saw was not clear at all, and the parts simply don’t work together as expected. To make matters worse, returning it has been a hassle, with extra costs pushed onto the customer despite the confusion being on the product listing side. That’s not acceptable. Between the unclear compatibility and the return experience, this was a complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend this accessory—or dealing with this seller.
