Bodum 12oz Tea Strainer w/Lid, Double Wall, High-Heat Borosilicate Glass, Black

I like the materials and ease of use and ease of cleaning afterwards. The infuser is rather large and its easy to out different teas in it. Even with finer green teas some fine pieces do come through but doesn't bother me. The design with cap is nice and cap substitutes as a stand to rest the infuser on after you let it steep a few minutes. It does hold a lot and i guess depending on what type of tea you ise it can be handy. The cup is a standard dual wall bodum cup so hot teas stay hot, i dont really like the style of cup though where its wide on too and smaller on bottom, Where its a little easier to tip so maybe a wider bottom with handle cup would be even better. Over all though its good quality and works well so the cup design is a minor complaint. 5 stars.

I absolutely love the bodum tea cup. I brew a lot of loose leaf tea so accompanied strainer is appreciated. I particularly like that the cup is clear so I can brew my tea to the perfect strength based on the depth of color. The double wall borosilicate glass and lid keep my tea warm longer than standard mugs. It’s also microwave safe (for a convenient quick heat up) and dishwasher safe.

I love the strainer and glass. But alas! The glass was knocked on the floor by one of the kids and broke. I wish that the glass was a bit stronger or thicker, but there's no guarantee. I still faithfully use the strainer for my loose teas. I might buy another one in the future.

Some here speak about how this double walled glass gets super hot and is not holdable, and it’s true if you add boiling water and put the lid on to hold the heat in (which is what probably most people would do, cuz why wouldn’t you do that?!). I found that if I add the water and don’t put the lid on, I can hold the glass after the five minute tea brew time and the tea brews fine. I don’t really call that ideal but it does work, and the liquid does stay warmer longer than a regular cup or mug, so I decided to keep it. I don’t love that the mesh is plastic; you’d think for this price it would be stainless steel.

I wish I had bought two of these because it is now my go-to mug for tea and I would like to have one at home and at work. I love the big basket that gives the tea leaves plenty of room to bloom, and I like the fact that even when the water is piping hot, the mug remains cool.

I love this cup. It's the perfect size. I love the tea strainer, too, it works great. I love sipping tea out of htis cup -- I have an herbal tea with hibiscus, and this cup really showcases the pretty color! Plus, when I'm on Zoom calls my face is not so obscured when I sip, because of the clear glass. I love how the cup is warm to hold, but not hot. I wish I'd purchased it sooner! Makes my life a little more beautiful and enjoyable every single day.

I ordered this for my SO and she absolutely loves it! It's very good quality and I expect it will last for age (barring any major whoopsies). It's very simple to clean as well. The strainer works fantastic and there is next to no leaf matter in the liquid. Great purchase, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a loose-leaf solution!

The only negative point is that the cup size is a little large, and it is not comfortable in the hand

Si eres amante del té este es tu vaso. Es práctico! Su tapa sirve muy bien para poner el infusor sin derramar té. Puedes controlar perfectamente tu infusión pues al ser transparente ves perfecto el color del té. Por su doble fondo no se calienta demasiado. Tiene una forma elegante!! Definitivamente lo recomiendo
