DEWALT Jump Starter DXAEJ14 1600 Amps with Compressor

Remember when your elders said, spend your money on an excellent product and make it last a really long time that’s where your value is? This couldn’t be more true of this product. I’ve been through three or four portable chargers and air inflators over the last few years with an average about $25-$35 on each and they all break within one year, or are woefully underpowered for what they’re supposed to do. After getting tired of constantly replacing them, I decided to bite the bullet and spend a premium dollar on a DeWalt product, which we all know contractors like to use. Right away you know that this is a superiorly built product because it is heavy, sturdy, well built and feels like it’s going to last 100 years. It was charged right out of the box but I charged it anyway and in less than 30 seconds of use it’s already paying itself, jumpstarting a V8 with absolutely no issues. I’ve had to jumpstart that V8 three or four times and the unit is still holding a 12.2 V charge with no issues. It also acts like a power station so you can plug in other electronic devices, inflate tires and charge all your electronic devices with ease. If I add up all of the cheap chargers and inflators that I bought, I could’ve had this five years ago and still been enjoying it. Lesson learned. I look forward to years of use with this product.

This is a great combination tool! It jump started my V8 GMC without any problem and the air compressor works great too. I no longer need my corded air compressor with a tank. No more running an extension cord out the door or window to pump up my tires. Kudos to Dewalt for making this combination tool! Great quality. Very portable. I highly recommend it.

Tons of uses for this system. I do a lot of camping and off grid and getting stuck with a flat tire or dead battery can take a long time to get rescued. This helps with both of those scenarios. Easy to use and not too heavy. Fits easy in the trunk space of my SUV. Being Dewalt, I know it is good quality and will last a long time.

It is versatile, light weight, and easy to stop in the vehicle. Great piece of equipment to carry.

Jumps several cars fills several tires

I owned one that I got for birthday present and it was great until I let my drunk neighbor use it and he ruined the Control board. Not being able to find a new board I bought one on Amazon, BUT I bought the "used but in good condition" to save $20. That one arrived, looked pretty used and scratched and instantly showed the same code that my previous unit had, ruined control board. The return was approved, and I got my money back. I really liked the one before my neighbor hooked up both leads to the positive side of his battery. His 2014 ish GMC Sierra has a black and a red in the positive side while the negative is hiding behind a support brace. The air compressor is loud, but it works for a single tire (31"). Never really put it to use on more or testing how many it'll air up on a full battery. The jump pack worked great, the light is sorta okay. I also like that the cables wrap up well for storage.

Works great, easy to use and holds charge for a long time. Used it 3 times in last year and still 3/4 charged.

We have very cold winters here, and with 3 vehicles (two cars and a truck) with frozen/dead batteries, this booster saved a lot of calls to CAA. Once vehicle is running, it can also do a battery and alternator test. We have tried some of the small/compact battery boosters, but they were unable to start cars sometimes, when extremely cold.
