This kit has literally everything you need to complete the projects. They all turned out so cute and had plenty of yarn with some even left over. The instructions are very easy to follow (if you already have a basic understanding of crochet). Between both the videos and written instructions, I think everything could be figured out by a beginner though. I found it actually much cheaper to buy the kit rather than buying all the yarn colors and patterns separately. Pictured is my wall of crochet plants and I circled the plants that came from this kit. Very happy with my purchase and had a lot of fun doing it. Hope they come out with more patterns.

I got this kit for my granddaughter. She has just started crocheting and was bored with just going back and forth on a blanket. I thought if I got her something cute she may like it more. This kit is complete, and has great instructions. I am primarily a knitter, but I used my own yarn to make up one from directions just to see if she would be able to do it. Instructions were clear and well laid out. I put instructions back in kit and am giving it to her next month for her birthday. I know she will love it! Cute designs and quality components. Very satisfied, and will order more kits for other grandkids.

I still did not finish all patterns, so my rate ir regarding of what you get with the kit and the quality of the items. It comes with everything as advertised. It also comes with 2 instruction books, which cover the basics of the stitches and the patterns for each plant and pot/basket. Also, you get a code to access the youtube videos, where a person shows how to do each plant/pot/basket. The yarn is not the same as used for the images. It is a thin and low quality yarn, which easily divides in 6 strings. I am relatively new to crochet (but I do other kinds of craft) and I found the yarn horrible. If you are a beginner, I suggest to not start with this kit. The youtube videos are essential to complete this kit, and I found this not nice. The instruction book should be more complete. I need to finish the plants, but I will probably use other yarn for the pots. With the ones from the kit it is impossible to keep the pots standing by itself. It is too flimsy. In general the kit is fine. I removed one star because of the yarn.

Super cute, the kit comes with everything you need, and the video tutorials have good techniques for each stitch. In general this is tricky for beginners, however learning all of the mentioned techniques will teach you a lot of useful crochet methods.

If you have the patience to really learn this is a good step by step guide but the yard quality makes it terrible to actually learn. The edges fray so when you’re trying to learn with a hook it’s easy to catch different frayed parts of the string. I’m considering buying better string & still using the guide because the info is well organized & the videos are easy to follow. I also think I may have received a previously returned item because some of the string was very obviously just thrown back together while the majority looked factory rolled

I used to crochet but it's been years. I wanted something to start back at it and decided this was cute so honestly I got another cheap kit from the dollar store and practiced on that using the directions from this because I didn't want to ruin it lol but after some videos and reading things over and over I think I got it. So maybe not super beginner friendly.... But again if you watch the videos it's easy to follow.

Got this pack thinking it would be a fun way to learn how to crochet. Wrong. The yarn frays super easy, not the best quality, and the crochet hook is minuscule. Very difficult to work with and definitely not for beginner beginners. There are no written instructions to follow and the videos go super fast and don’t give in depth detail. I had to keep rewinding to understand what was going on but the instructor was moving fast and small movements they were hard to follow. Had to go to Woobles videos to even get some kind of idea and more in depth instructions.

These little guys are so cute!! The instructions are very easy to follow and I love that this little kit can make so many little succulents. Still working on finishing them all, but so far they look great.

This is a great kit for someone learning to crochet! I got this to get my daughter started and she loves it! It's a fun little hobby that you can actually make useful things with too, whether it's blankets, accessories, or little figures like these. The instructions are decently clear, and you have everything you need to make the included figures. The neat thing is that you have the pattern for in the future if you want to make more, you just have to get more yarn! It's a little more finicky than making a blanket because these are definitely not simple rectangles, but they're simple enough that anyone can do it! Highly recommend!

This is an absolutely adorable set of characters and I'm very much looking forward to getting to work on them. I would also suggest that parents of younger children, perhaps hang onto the gluestick and then supervise the "hot glue" portion of the kit. I was little shocked in the videos to see them use a lighter torch to heat the hotglue to fix items in place. I would suggest use of a proper hot glue gun or having an adult complete this portion of the kit. The kit seems complete with all items provided including an extra set of safety eyes. The yarn seems to separate easily and the scissors are more likely to pinch than cut the yarn. However, most people have a set of scissors lying around and the yarn while it could be frustrating should work fine. There are 2 booklets, complete with pictures, included: 1-Basic Stitches; 2-Specific Kit instructions. There is also a thick card with the QR code directing you to the Youtube playlist with the videos for each project and the basic stitches. The Basic stitch booklet also has this same code. I found both codes worked for me. The videos seem complete and fairly easy to follow - plus you can always slow down the speed of the video, or speed up for those with advanced skills, if you want/need to. However, the videos are one single video for each "character", without chapters or sections, so it is not easy to jump to the section you want to rewatch. For example the "Cactus" video is 40 minutes and is not further divided. I found that there are things in the videos that do not seem to be included in the printed instructions such as: --1) At the end of each round you need to do a slip stitch and a chain stitch before the next round and these do not seem to be included in the stitch counts. --2) The videos show how to install the safety eyes and when to put in the stuffing, whereas the instructions just say where to place the eyes. --3) The videos also show more details on the "X" patterns on the cactus which appear to be a single strand of the yarn, the "rouge" and mouth stitches, how to close, and "how to create the cute butt" on the cactus...LOL. Overall, I am confident that I can complete these kits with the help of the videos at an adult beginner level. It may be a little challenging for younger children though.

Cute, easy to follow instructions. I wish the yarn was better quality though.
