Absolutley fantastic
My cordless mic stopped working and I didn’t want to spend £500 on a new one just to sing in care homes. I already had an SM 58 corded mic but don’t like singing with wires incase residents trip up over them. A friend suggested these and they are a game changer, so easy to use, no buying batteries, just literally charge them and put into speaker/mixer and other one in mic and off you go. No box to plug in etc… Honestly I will never buy a cordless mic again.

Near Perfect
As wireless transmitters and receivers go, this 'JOYO' kit is near perfect, it's very easy to set up, the range is more than acceptable for the type, and performance is top notch, with clear sound quality. Our son has been putting the kit through its paces for some time now, and it hasn't faltered once, which, in one way, is testament to the overall build quality of the product.

Exceptional Wireless Solution for Microphones!
This wireless microphone system is incredibly easy to set up—perfect for various venues, whether I'm at a gig, in my home studio, or even at a wedding event. The sound quality is impressive, with latency kept within 5ms, ensuring that my audio is clear and stable without any noticeable delays. I love that it’s compatible with any dynamic or harmonic microphone, as well as audio mixers and PA systems. This versatility means I can easily integrate it into my existing setup. The plug-and-play feature is a huge time-saver, and I appreciate that it comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Just make sure to use a 4.5V-5.5V charger for optimal performance. I’ve found that the battery life is solid, allowing for extended use without interruptions. The JOYO wireless microphone system has been a fantastic investment for anyone looking to upgrade their audio setup. It provides convenience, excellent sound quality, and reliability—all at an affordable price. Highly recommended for musicians, podcasters, or anyone in need of a robust wireless solution!

Well-made and works perfectly
I am getting this to turn the wired microphone of the karaoke system into wireless. Both the transmitter and receiver feel very well-made and good quality. It was easy to connect, just simply plug and play. The sound is the same as wired microphone but I've noticed a very small latency, which doesn't affect the use. The battery life is excellent considering its size. I haven't tried to drain the battery but it can last at least 4 hours according to my test. This wireless microphone transmitter is priced at £105.99 at the time of review, and cheaper with a £22 voucher, which I think is reasonable considering the build quality and performance so I would recommend it.

Good quality wireless mic TX/RX
If you have a regular dynamic microphone that you favour then this bit of kit can help convert it to a wireless mic system. In the box you have the transmitter, receiver, 2x USB-C to USB A split cable, and a user guide. The TX and RX are larger and heavier than you might expect from just looking at the pictures. They are a made from alloy and feel good quality with male and female XLR connections on their respective ends. However I wouldn't say the size or weight are intrusive. It just changes the balance of your microphone. Syncing up the TX and RX is fairly straightforward. In terms of sound there is no appreciable difference between a wired cable the wireless system. However I did notice some slight latency. Nothing major but it is something worth bearing in mind if you are using any additional digital processing. In terms of range I can't see any issues in smaller venues. Around my home I was able to get distances of around 8-12 metres, without drop. I haven't tried further and while they claim around 30metres, I would keep within 20metre to avoid drops or interference. I haven't been able to fully test the battery under different uses or conditions. But I didn't see any issue upto the 2 hour mark, and suspect it should near the 3 hours claimed.A good quality wireless system from Joyo.

Easy To Set Up Wireless Microphone Transmitter Set
This JOYO Wireless Transmitter and Receiver set is ideal for those who would like to be able to use an existing Dynamic microphone wirelessly. The set comprises of a transmitter, receiver, dual charging cable and a set of instructions. On arrival the transmitter/receiver set was partially charged and took around two hours to fully charge prior to me setting up and using with a dynamic microphone. The transmitter simply plugs into the XLR connection on the base of a microphone and the receiver can then be plugged into an XLR input on a mixing desk, PA or recording device. They are supplied already set to operate on channel 1 with four channel options available. By using the push buttons a different channel can be selected if the user were to find that another wireless device nearby is interfering with the transmission signal. On first use I was able to have my microphone connected and working wirelessly within a few minutes as the set is easy to operate and use.The transmitted sound quality is in my opinion much the same as using a mic with a cable. The amount of latency 5ms is very small and having used this set a few times I have not noticed it. The frequency response covers the range of my microphone and I have noticed a very small amount of compression which I don't mind at all as I tend to add it to microphone channels to help even out dynamics. The effective distance between the transmitter and receiver is specified as being up to 30 metres. As conditions at different venues can vary I personally like to keep the distance to a minimum. In summary this microphone transmitter/receiver set does in my opinion work as described. I have a couple of older microphones which I find suit my voice and being able to now use them without a cable makes them much more versatile. The receiver doesn't add much weight or bulk and once plugged into the bottom of a dynamic mic it just looks like part of the microphone. It is not suitable for use with a condenser mic as they usually require phantom power. Overall I am very happy with the quality and function of this microphone transmitter set and happy to recommend.
