If you use the bucktails in saltwater just be aware that fish with lots of teeth will be chasing the buck tail and you might lose a few( use a wire leader about 6 inches with a hay wire twist and a barrel twist). This bucktail resembles a lot of bait fish that Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, blue fish, yellow jacks
