Commenting on what has previously been posted, these are great bars at the fraction of the price of Indian Name Brand. Lined up perfectly and when you take your time, installation goes smoothly. l agree that you need two people to install these highway bars, four hands are the way to go. Definitely tape off the front fender using blue tape. I added the plastic wrapping that came with the bars with the blue tape for extra coverage. Yes, you will need to take off the driver front brake assembly in order to install these bars. As stated before, two hex screws are all you need. tape off around the engine where the hex wrench will come close when you loosen and tighten. I scuffed my paint a bit. final word is to purchase locktite and use this on the bolts for added protection. added advantage is i can still use the rear brake when my foot is on the top of the bar by sliding my foot down a bit.

Compared to the $400-something that Indian sells them for, this is a steal. They feel solid, and fit right up. I consider myself pretty mechanically inclined (I'm a welder by trade, and a "maker" at home, also work on my own cars and bikes) and it took me 30 mins to install the front and the back set, and most of that was looking for the tools. You need a 6mm Allen (hex) tool and an 8mm Allen. I used a socket for each, and for the rear bars (a separate item, but I ordered and installed at the same time) you can either remove the saddlebags if you have them, or take a 6mm Allen wrench and cut the short side down to about 1/2 inch like in the pic with the tools. It would also be smart to have some threadlocker. Plan on taking the complete right floorboard (I have a Springfield, you may have pegs) off with the rear brake assembly. You don't have to loosen the actual brake line (in fact, DON'T do that!). Just carefully let it hang towards the ground. The image with the yellow writing shows you which 8mm bolts to remove. You may want to either remove the front fender carefully, or you can wrap it in a soft towel and tape the towel in place. Or, you can do like I did, and was just super-very careful. When you install the front bars, make sure and put them -behind- the brake line that goes down-to-up and right-to-left if you're sitting on the bike. That goes from the rear brake pedal assembly up to a small (two-way? not sure what you'd call it) connection. I just got one of the smaller bolts started in one of the top holes, and that held the bars so I could get one of the larger bolts started in a lower hole. Once you get it lined up enough where you can start tightening bolts, pull each out (one at a time) and put a dab of thread locker on it and tighten it down. Then, go to the next bolt till you get all four. Less than half an hour for me, and that included looking for tools, having a Beam and Coke, and taking pictures for this review.

Feels solid took 15 min to install hope to never need them. Feels like a solid bar and holes lined up perfect on my 24 Springfield DH

I really liked not paying a few hundred more $ for the Indian branded mustache bar. This one arrived fast, the finish is a great dullish black (very similar to my Dark Horse flat black), and it appears to be a well built, solid piece. Fairly easy install - but you need a helper, a second set of hands! Can't stress that enough. Also, two tips, use blue painters tape to tape of areas where you don't want scratching to occur as you install (I'm talking about the back of the front fender) and plan on taking off at least the right foot rest/brake setup to get this installed (it's just two bolts - and have a small box or something ready for it to sit on while you are dealing with the install so you don't bend anything that shouldn't be bent).

Installed on my 2020 Indian Springfield Dark Horse, the looks, quality and the price is amazing. I don't have a lift, so for me I needed a second pair of hands to hold and align the bars. Bars are heavy steel, welded and the fit is perfect. Note: wrap your front fender with cloth or something so you don't damage it while fitting the bars

The overall product is great, the packaging they used for shipping pretty much fell apart by the time it reached my house. This resulted in scratches and scuffs throughout. If they could get the packing right it would have been a 5 star!

These seem to be a well made set of bars that mount right up to the factory mounting points without issue. Install took maybe 15 minutes total. 4 stars only because they didn't include torque specs. Installation is straightforward even without instructions. I had to temporarily remove the right side floorboard/brake pedal assembly to installed the lower right bolt. For anyone else getting these: 35 Ft Lbs at the bottom, and 18 Ft Lbs at the top.
