2012 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3l. I bought this AFM/DFM Disabler 2 week ago and works fantastic just plug it in and start vehicle and light comes on and drive, stays in all 8 cylinders all the time, no issues when you turn vehicle off light goes off so no battery drain whatsoever no worries leave it plugged in, as far gas milage that has not changed at all, as far as oil consumption it has improved I am very impressed engine just runs smoother. This will save everyone money down the road. Highly recommend this product only.

Wish I'd known sooner about this thing. Plugged it in and immediately noticed right out of my driveway the difference it made. Much smoother acceleration, idle, and shifting both up and down. Runs solid, as a V8 should. Buy it, you'll be happy you did.

Love this thing, I bought it for my wife’s 2016 Chevy Tahoe and it’s been great!! As soon as it arrived I installed it and we took a trip from Oklahoma to Louisiana and then to Texas and back home. We averaged between 20-23mpg while on the trip and it ran great, no shifting trouble or anything. As far as my mpg’s before I installed it, it was about the same, maybe a little better(1mpg if that) but I like staying in v8 mode. So far it’s been great. It’s very easy to install, just plug it in and your set, and it hasn’t affected my battery at all. I think it’s a really good value and I’ve recommended it to several people.

The unit arrived the day after it was ordered. It was an incredibly easy installation. Just plug it in! Took a test drive shortly after installing. The truck performed much better than before. Good acceleration and throttle response, smooth up and down shifting. Stayed in V8 mode the entire time. Looking forward to the long term benefits.

I’ve used this product before, it works as advertised, no more v4 mode. No battery drain when your switch is off it’s off. Good product, US made.

It took longer to open the box than to plug in the disabler and start protecting my 2016 chevy truck 5.3L engine. Prior to installation, I could monitor the number of times my engine was switching from 8 cylinder to 4 cylinder (it was often) and now it is completely locked into 8 cylinder. It's easy to use and nothing to think about now. No manual transmission shift to block the AFM system from working. Just put the truck in Drive and go. Less than $200 spent to potentially save $5000+. A good investment in my book. I don't drive the truck everyday so I don't know the full impact of gas mileage yet but a slight loss in mpg is expected going to full time 8 cylinder.

So easy to install and gets the job done. I heard too many negative comments on the Active Fuel Management (AFM), on GM V8 engines. The probability of Catastrophic engine failures was enough for me to install disabler. I also didn't like the sound my engine would make when shift from 8 to 4 cylinders. I have no complaints as everything seems to work fine. My gas mileage isn't better or worse. I still believe this was the best choice. .

Have a 2011 chevy silverado this agm disabled work nice no battery Draw when off and works perfectly with each key cycle. Had trouble with a different brand only work buy plunging in each key cycle this max cylinder worked flawlessly nice product.
