Review: I LOVE this dress, but my stomach doesn’t :( - First off, this dress is gorgeous. The color/print is stunning, the material is nice and silky, I adore the neckline. But if you’re like me and you have an apron belly, it’s gonna show in this dress :( I included pics of myself from each side and from the front. I don’t think the sides are too bad, but I definitely notice my belly in the front picture, and that’s posed with tight shapewear on. I think it’s partially because of the placement of the ruching/crossover on my stomach. I’m 5’5” 210lbs 38DD and I’m usually a size 14 in dresses and 12 in jeans. I’m wearing size large here and it fits like a glove and is very stretchy. Straps are also adjustable. If you’re in between sizes, size down. I also tried this dress in the sparkly black size XL and I prefer how the large fits. Unfortunately I’ll be returning because it doesn’t flatter my body type, but if I lose 50 lbs I’ll be RUNNING back here to reorder this. Ordered a couple more dark colors hoping they’ll be a bit more forgiving. Definitely give it a try!

Bought this gown for a fancy black-tie event. I looked in ALL the high-end, designer boutiques near us, but could not find what I needed and wanted. Those hosting the event required ladies wear dusty pink formal gowns. I couldn’t find a single dress which both fit properly and was the right color. I really did NOT want to buy some cheap dress online, but THREE days before the event, I had no choice. While this dress is made of a cheaper fabric, the color was perfect and the fit was perfection. I felt confident and lovely the entire evening.
