I wanted these ice blocks molds for when I use my cooler for camping, or other outdoor activities. I’ve found that blocks of ice can last days longer than regular ice cubes. When first taken out of the box, the molds are somewhat deformed, but within a short amount of time they relax into their correct form. They are easy to fill and easily stayed flat in my freezer. It was also easy to remove the ice from the mold. These are made of silicone, not hard plastic, so you can’t just bend them and have the ice fall out. You have to peal the mold away from the ice. It’s not difficult, it’s just different. These ice blocks molds are a great size for both my 20 QT and 50 QT RTIC coolers.

The silicone molds are easy to fill. While they hold their shape well, I do recommend having them on a tray for moving to the freezer. Obviously, due to the size, they take a while to freeze. The ice cubes release easily. They are great for making large blocks of ice, but they'll also be fun this summer to make treats for my chickens and other livestock.

Makes big ice bricks, perfect for my cooler for camping and for my ice bath. They were sturdy and well shaped, easy to fill and carry one by one to the freezer. One was a little off shape in the package but it fixed itself. Great product.
