Classic H4 Digital Kitchen Radio (DAB+/FM, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, Kitchen Timer, Alarm), Cotton White/Oak

Having owned Pure radios for years now I am amazed at how they get better with every new model. The H4 is so easy to set up and the bass from its little speaker is just fab. Love the look of it and the size makes it great for use in the kitchen. Price was also good. Highly recommend this radio.

Nice looking, compact but solid, easy to use, decent sound quality. Bass was a bit boomy out of the box, but setting EQ to Normal fixed that. My main criticism is the display is too small to see what's playing from a distance, and I'd need glasses close up. Also I don't like power supplies with interchangeable pins, that seems a cost reduction too far. I'd rather have a larger display and drop the features I don't need, namely: aux input, USB input, FM, telescopic antenna (a stubby fixed one would do for DAB-only). That said, it's a very nice radio and I'd consider getting another for a bedroom, as it has an alarm function.

Absolutely wonderful pure radio for my kitchen, it looks the part and delivers with a punch, crystal clear and just what I wanted. I got a black Friday deal and it's certainly excellent value. You can preset so many radio stations too.

Superb little radio. Not cheap, but the tone exceeds its rivals and in my opinion, justifies the cost. We have a few in the family and they all perform faultlessly.

Easy to use, nice bass and volume. Was a reduced item but works perfectly, very pleased.

We got this as we were looking for a new radio for the kitchen that received DAB+. Our old DAB radio didn't get these stations. This is an excellent little radio, and works perfectly well in our kitchen. The tone is better than our old Pure "Evoke" radio, being a little deeper and better balanced. There are 3 eq (tone settings) and it's easy to find one that suits depending on where the radio is sat. If it's up against a wall, or in a corner the bass is boosted slightly. What's impressive is that as soon as you switch it on, it goes off and loads up all the stations (115 where we are), then you set your favourites just by pressing one of the memory buttons. We haven't needed to open the instructions at all. Very pleased.

1. The sound is muffled. On Radio 4 I can't hear so well what they're saying, as if they're underwater. 2. Occasionally makes a loud clicking noise even when the volume is low. I think this is related to a poor power cable. 3. Worst of all, it doesn't tune in to Radio 3 Unwind which I like when working in my home office. It's not an option on the list so I can't select it. 4. I had thrown away the box so I can't return it - foolish me. 5. It's now on the shelf as an unused bluetooth speaker (which is also useless as it doesn't auto-connect and I have to pair it every time). 6. Wouldn't buy a PURE brand product again. 7. In summary, total waste of time and money.

This radio isn't great for use in Portugal which has no DAB radio broadcasts, and this radio (unlike the H4i) does not support Internet radio - effectively one is left with FM stations and little else.

Questa radio è davvero ottima. Elegante e funzionale. Il suono è buono. La sintonizzazione delle stazioni agile. Anche come colore e design si adatta perfettamente ai obili della m ia cucina

Très content de mon achat. Cette radio fonctionne seulement en alimentation electrique sans batteries ce que je voulais. J'avais une crainte en cas de coupure d'électricité si elle allait garder en mémoire les stations enregistrées, a ma surprise même après 3 jours tout est encore là. Le son est agréable, le réglage est intuitif, je l'ai programmé sans regarder la notice, je n'utilise pas l'option cuisine (alarme et / ou minuterie). Je ne regrette pas mon achat.

Goede radio

Buen sonido y buen diseño. La única pega que le pongo es que no tiene posibilidad de poner pilas así que si no hay luz, no hay radio.
