This 100 Gram Balance Scale is a handsome reproduction of a portable antique scientific laboratory balance scale. This Balance Scale comes in a black piano finish wooden case that is also used as the base of the scale. In just a few seconds you can assemble the scale and you are ready to use it. The scale is solid brass with a certified capacity of 3.5 ounces (100 grams). A needle indicates when the weights of the two bowls' contents are equal. The scale is 8 1/2 inches (21.59 cm) tall when assembled, and the bowl is 2 3/8 inches (6.0 cm) in diameter, and the balance arm is 4 1/4 inches (10.8 cm) long. All the components fit neatly into the wide, deep, and tall velvet-lined wooden case. The balance scale comes with a large weight set and a pair of tweezers. Custom brass plaques are available that mount on the case.
